Quick update on me
Good afternoon Illinois!!! I was going to put this in the rool call, but I have been swamped at work and can't seem to get there in the mornings. My home computer is still down so no help there...... I had my blood tests yesterday to see if my iron would improve after a month of taking 3 horse pills a day, but alas.....it was just a reprieve. My numbers were down a bit from last month, so I will be heading into Madison for an iron infusion on Monday. Wish me luck! Amber, Olivia and Riley are going with me so that they can go to the zoo and maybe the beach while I am being infused. At least I will get a nap. They say the infusion can take up to 6 hours, so I am packing a book, movies and a cooler with all my water and lunch. Hopefully, all will go well and it will just be forced relaxation. Riley is coming over for the whole weekend again. We had her last weekend too. This can get addicting! She is saying all kinds of words, but NOT "Grandma" or "UMA", which I kind of would like her to call me. The vacation search got a little interesting yesterday. I found this.......www.maho.org. For us, it would be the "luxury camping" of the "Harmony Suites" on St. John in the US Virgin Islands and may just be the ticket!!!! Check it out and let me know what you think if you get a chance and feel like it. I think it sounds pretty cool, but Todd is keeping quiet...... I can't believe that I am even THINKING of staying in the jungle with 300-500 stairs between me and the beach! Lots of walking, hiking and climbing stairs. Did I just say "beach"? WOW!!!!!!! What a diference a year makes. Everyone have a GREAT weekend!!!!
Morning Dawn - Sorry I'm late responding. Calvin and I went to a ball game last name. We had a great time. Sorry to hear about the low iron. That really stinks but at least you know it's low and can work on getting it right. Six hours is a long time! I will be thinking about you on Monday. Hmmmm forced relaxation. Is that how you get it? NO THANKS!
Your vacation plans are sounding interesting. I have not checked out the website but will.
Enjoy little Miss Riley this weekend. I wanted my granddaughter Madison to say Nana so bad when she was just starting to talk.. One afternoon she was at our house and kept saying nana.. I was on cloud nine until I realized she wanted a banana not Nana!!!!!!! LOL She'll be seven in Feb.. She's a Valentine's baby. Take Care, Christina
