OMG!!! I found a surgeon that takes medicaid

Thanks for the information.  I was going to have the lap band but I changed my mind too.  With the lap band, you have to go for the rest of your life for fills.  I wouldn't like that.  I'll let you know what happens.

Hi denisemrozek.Yeah that`s one of the reasons I changed my mind.I`d rather take vitamins & minerals every day for the rest of my life verses having to find the money,to get a train to Chicago from here(3-4 hr.trip),having to get a motel room to stay over night or immediately make the trip back that same day.Just too much.I called today to set up the consult for Oct 5th & Bailet said Dr.Ayloo had that day blocked so I had her check Oct 4th & it was also blocked.So she said she would talk to the Dr and see if she could fit me in someway since I am so far away and this is about the only time I can go with having somewhere for my son to stay since school will be back in.She said she would call me back today before the end of the day but she must have forgotten. Good luck & yes let me know what happens.

Congrats to you!!! I donr t know if you remember me, but I told you about a month ago about Dr. Ayloo, and UIC.  I told you she accepted me and I have Medicaid. She is my surgeon as well, and my paperwork was submittied on Monday for approval! Good Luck to you!!!

Hi Shana.Yes I do remember you.It`s funny.Each referral I would get on here i would put on a list to check out.I had other places I was checking on before I got to that list.When I got to that list,I was actually checking on a referral to Dr.Vitello.That`s when Bailet said it would be Dr.Ayloo.You and a few others referred me to UIC and I thank each and every one of you.Bailet was suppose to call me today with a time on Oct.5th when Dr.Ayloo can see me but she hasn`t called.I called a few minutes ago but there was no answere..I wish she would call because I`d like to get our train tickets and hotel room reserved. Yes.The number is (312)355-1578 I got my consult scheduled for Oct.5th I`m not sure and I could be wrong,but I think what Dr.they assign to you depends on what type of surgery you are wanting because I called actually looking for Dr.Vitello and she said Dr.Ayloo would be my surgeon.I`ve decided on getting the RNY instead of the LapBand.I hope I`ve been of some help.
