looking for support groups around rockford, il

Hi I am looking for a support group around the rockford, il area.  I have lost my way this summer and only lost 7 pounds.   Im just in a little need of support. thanks sherry

Dear Sherry: I don't know if they still have it or not, but OSF St. Anthony used to have one in the evening.  Maybe look at their web site? I haven't seen anyone post about it lately, but that is the only one I know of.  I go to Madison when I can. I am sorry I can't be more helpful, but I didn't want you think that no one cares.

We do meet at OSF St. Anthony at the center for health (where the re-hab is, on State St.).  We meet the last Monday on the month at 6:30 pm, upstairs.  I don't remember the room number.  The next meeting in next Monday, the 27th.  The meeting leader is Joyce Corcoran.  We have people from the OSF bariatric program (in Peoria), some that went to Barix in Belvidere, and a couple who had their surgery in Madison, WI.  Feel free to message me if you need more information.  Cindy
