Thursday Roll Call
Good morning, I mean I think that it is morning but it is still so dark outside. Man did it rain last night; by my house we got well over an inch. Too much for the rain swollen rivers and streams around here.
Anything on your plate for today? Keep Janet in your thoughts and prayers. See Christina's post update on her. She also has her address if you want to send her a card, so give Christina a PM asking for it. Kim how did your last appt go? Come in and fill us in. Julie from IN is asking about BCBS IL questions if you have an answer for her. Or just stop in her post and give a little encouragement. We are missing some of our members the last couple of days, come out - come out where ever you are.
I hate it when jobs get in the way of posting on the boards.
Well, I need to get ready for work. I guess that I will drive yet another day instead of taking my bike out. Too dangerous with all this lightening out there.

Good morning Chris and Illinois! Rain....
...so tired of it So wonderful when you want to nap in the day but one day is plenty!
Kim, has your stuff been sent off to the insurance company now? And how did Maddie like her first day of school? Is she ready for college yet?...
...as smart as she is, it won't take long!
Chris, when is your speaking engagement? hummm thought i would be silent on that one? got to brag on my friends even if they want to "bite"
me once in a while!
Have a great day all of you!
Pam

I will go to the LWB seminars that are coming up in the next week +. It changes sometimes with the flavor of the group that is there for the seminars. Sometimes it is a - I speak and they listen and they might ask a few questions or sometimes Dr R will just incorporate me into what he is talking about. Next week Dave is coming with me and we will probably do a little tag team thing. We will see how it goes because people will sometimes sit there and not ask things and other times they are full of questions.

Nervous but I have an outline on index cards and if I get stuck I will pull them out. It is getting easier all the time. I never thought I would be able to talk in front of a group of anyone, let alone strangers. But you go with what you are passionate about. WLS has afforded me the self esteem to be able to to this.

Good morning Illinois. Sorry I have been MIA. I had one sister that had some test done, and another had surgery, and I sat around, and thought that they might not be good sister's too me, but I am gonna be a better one to them. They still are my sister's.
Rain? What's that? Could you guys send some down our way? We had a bit the other day, but it is so dry here that it was soaked into the ground before it even hit..lol
Was sorry to hear about Janet, but I think she is a fighter.
Hope everyone has a great day.
I am off to take the dog to the vet, and hubby to see about the pain in his legs.

First off I want to commend you for taking the steps with your sisters. I know from first hand experience that that is very, very hard. I had a sister that Dave and I did not get along with and we mended fences and I am so glad because 2 years ago she died of a pulmonary embolism after knee surgery.
Secondly, I love the new picture. The two of you have such great smiles and look really happy in the pic.
Hope everything is ok with the doggie and the DH.
