Mornin' all- It looks like a beautiful day and NOT HUMID so Oscar the oxygen tank can stay sleeping this day at least!  Sorry I've been so quiet, but just not feeling up to snuff-it really disturbs me to have this crater in my tummy that I have to clean and stuff.  I know I am being a whiny baby so I'm off the pity pot!  The visiting nurse is wanting to debride the wound with some sort of acid solution, but I won't let her pour drano down my hole until it's OK'd by my surgeon.  I am not a natural blonde!  And it really does not sound pleasant.  Something that Dr. Doom would think up!  After I get the love of my life, the essence of my being, the pain in my -ss-both cheeks- off to work- I plan to have a cheap tawdry affair w/ my orange oil, dust rag and swiffer.  I know I'm living on the edge again!  Good luck to all who are waiting for their OK's and paperwork- keep calling like Christina says-the squeaky wheel gets the oil!  I would love to meet the 23rd if I can find a ride-I know Joy Boy wouldn't be interested in going unless I can assure him a other masculine attendees.  He helped me raise  4 girls, so he is tired of facing the wall of estrogen!  Lastly, I want to DEEPLY thank all of you for the messages and cards you have buoyed my spirits with these past weeks.  I thank the Lord for such caring friends.  Have a great Labor Day w-end-I know I will-Eddie is working! You do not have to apologize for being a little absent because everyone's life is full on this board. It has been a glorious day has it not? My husband thinks that your description of Dr Doom (Dr H) is exactly what he is. As far as the 23rd, Dave said he would come. Of course he fits right in with the ladies, he loves them. I was thinking - Christina would Calvin be able to come? Joy Boy, Calvin Cutie (he is a cutie and I love his accent!) and Davey Dear can talk up a storm while the grils cackle together.  Christine

Janet, With all you have had to deal with in the last few weeks, I can assure you that everyone is thinking of you, even when you aren't on the boards.

When I saw Dr. Doom last week, he even cracked a smile. Not a big one, but at least a hint of one. He may not be seeing me in the hospital, but he wants to see me 2 weeks later He did pass me for lapband.

Janet - On the 23rd...  Calvin does not know if he can make it.  He's going to try to rearange his schedule.  I will be going for sure so if you need a ride and your hubby decides it's just too much estrogen in the room, I will swing by and pick  you up. Hi Chris and The Rest of IL, I hope everyone is having a good day.. I have been swamped with work and am trying to catch up before the holiday.  I need to go and get some bloodwork done as my last came back with elevated calcium levels.  My doc said not to worry, but of course I worry,lol
