Saturday Roll Call

Good morning IL.   Have a safe holiday weekend everyone that is going for a little car trip. For everyone that is not traveling have a safe one also. We are out of the house here in about 45 minutes on a little 1+ day escape to the Milwaukee area. We have been looking forward to today for a while and I think the weather is going to be great also. Have fun Chris & Dave!  I'm traveling my butt to work.  LOL  Oh what fun it is.  Anyway, I'm leaving in about 15min.  Just waiting for the washer to finish so I can run another load thru before I leave for work.

I picked up a short shift at Bakers Square tonight.  I'm a gluntin for punishment.  I had the day off but somehow NO does not seem to be in my vocabulary.  I'm not as bad as I used to be but I still find myself over extending myself and then paying the price.  Oh well.

Christina, You are a lotlike me I dontknow how to say no either. That is when I do work. I still havent started my new job. They havent told me when the strt day is. I still dont have my Florida Cosmetology liscense. I hope this week. I am going to go to Disney World tomorrow with some our friends who work there. We are going to stay overnight in a hotel. I am so excited to take my husband there. He has never been there. I think he is excited like a little boy!!!!! Say a pray for my daughters dog. I think she took a turn for the worse with her Lymphoma. She cant keep any food down and Liz took her to the vet today. They gave her a shot of Reglan and some more pills. Hoping it will calm her down so she can eat some. Maybe we will have to put her down. sooner than we think. Carla 

AS I was typing my last note my daughter called and she was holding our dog. They had put her to sleep. I guess the lymphoma attacked her lungs and she wasnt breathing to well. At one point she quit breathing for a few seconds. Now Shayna isnt in pain anylonger. Thankyou for the prayers. Carla

I'm so sorry to hear about Shayna.  I can't imagine losing one of my furbabies.  I know it will happen some day but it's hard to imagine life w/out them.  I think some people can relate and others can't.  I have four labs and they are my life.  Well, besides Calvin 

Prayers to you and your family. Christina I hope you and hubby enjoy your night away.  I bet he is like kid in a candy store.  Sounds like a lot of fun. You guys deserve some down time.. you've had a lot on your plate lately w/ the move and all.  Any word on that cash deal w/ your house in CO?

You have my deepest sympathy-if something happened to our pup we would be devastated.  At least she's not suffering anymore.  Janet K

Okay this made me cry.  I know how hard it is to lose a beloved pet.  Especially to an awful cancer like lymphoma,  our baby was only 11 1/2 months old last Oct when he had to be put down because of this.  Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Shayna is now romping and playing at the bridge with Kizer! hugs and love
