I had an EKG done a couple of weeks ago for my pcp. She thought she heard something. Anyway, Monday, I had her fax a copy to the Kane Center to show them I had a current EKG, and didn't need another one for the pre testing. It turns out that something is showing abnormal. So, besides getting the pretesting done tomorrow, I also have an appointment to see the heart specialist, and another to get my stomach ultar sound done. Now this is bothering me. I will let everyone know how it goes.

Current          219    BMI 38 I am in the normal range!!!

Hi Lisa - I know it's easier for me to say this since I'm not in your shoes. Try not to stress too much. My EKG came back abnormal. My stress test came back abnormal and my nuclear test was also abnormal. The heart specialist told me the only way he could confirm if I really truly was having problems was to do the heart cathederization which proved my heart was good and healthy and no problems to worry about. Sometimes those tests are just not accurate. So, I guess in the long run, I have an advantage over some because even though the heart cathedrization was not fun and I had to lay completely still for 8hrs to make sure I did not bleed to death, I now know I have a healthy heart. Some never know until it's too late. I'll be praying for you.

Don't fret over this. They will get to the bottom of what is going on and in the end they will find out that you are healthy also. I know that I am preaching to the choir here and saying that it is better to find out if there are any problems now than when you are on the table having surgery. Chris

Hi Lisa. I'm sorry that you are going through this now. I think both Christina and Christine said it best! We're here for you to support you all the way. It is better to find out now then to go into surgery and develop problems. I am a big advocate of the medical screening that we have to go through for a safe surgery. Let us know! Hugs, Lucy

Hi Christina and Christine, Thank you both for the encourageing words. I know we will get to the botton of this, its just so frustrating knowing I just got over the heart surgery in April. I have done the heart cath thing a number of times, and really, I hope he doesn't make me do another one. We will find out later today, I have a 4:15 appointment with Dr. Sauri.

Oh , I am sorry to hear this, I sure hope that everything is ok,

      Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Alot of EKG'S come back abnormal. I had one a couple of years ago and and they said that it was abnormal, but normal for a woman(whatever that means!) Just want to with you good luck.

All my tests came back abnormal as well. I thought I was going to pass out when I got the phone call outlining all the things that it could be. I asked for a second and eventually a third opinion and they realized it was "breast attentuation" instead of blockage. Stay strong. I hope they find out its nothing.
