I have a date too!

I just got off the phone with the nurse and I have a date for surgery! November 8th. I have a sleep study scheduled Oct. 22, a training session with the nurse to go over the surgery and the pre-surgery diet, and one last appointment with the surgeon. I would like to say I'm totally excited, but I'm actually pretty freaked out right now!!

CONGRATS. I know its nerve racking isnt it? ! Is all I can think about. i cant even sleep im so happy and scarred both.

I do have to do the liquid diet. I meet with a nurse on October 23. She said to allow 2-3 hours for this appointment. She'll go over the surgery procedure and review the diet, then I'll start the liquid diet the next day. That means I'll be on it for 2 weeks and 1 day. Thanks for all of your posts, it help keep me thinking positive and not getting too nervous! Mendy
