My Day Today

Good Evening Ladies, I just wanted to share my day with my friends.  After work I went to my NUT appt, which went GREAt.  I lost 6.5lbs this past month!!!  I was so excited to see that.  She said that I was doing very well and that I just still needed to concentrate on the size of my bites. After that I had my first appt with the Psychologist.  That also went very well and she said that I was doing good too.  I tend to self talk myself out of bad choices and she said that was great.   Now mind you, I left the house at 8am this morning and no sooner than I got home at 6:30pm, Jacob, my middle son, comes up to me crying and holding his arm.  Seems while cleaning their room, Tyler put a drawer on the floor and Jacob fell over it and sliced his upper arm, underneath, open on it.  Luckily it didn't need any stitches and I just cleaned it out good, but he's going to have a sore arm for a while.   I think it was about 7:30 before I even got my shoes off!   I'm heading upstairs now to see what the kids have done in their room!  lol

Hi Monica. Congratulations on your weight loss!  You're a better person than me, as I gained weight before my WLS. I was lucky that my surgeon didn't cancel on me. Your results are going to be so dramatic! You have so much to look forward to with your new lifestyle.

Hugs, Lucy

Thanks everyone!  I want you to know that you are all a huge part of my success so far and will be through it all too.  I told the NUT that she needs to add this website on her list of sites that she hands out on the first visit.

Hey there!!!! How AWESOME it THAT!!!!!  You are doing GREAT!!!   I am really glad to hear that your appointments went so well.  You are learning all about the changes that will be occuring after surgery and are really making this time count.  That is the best thing that you can be doing right now.....it will REALLY pay off later.  I was very frustrated with the setbacks that occured to delay my surgery, but now, I see that the time I spent learning and practicing was time well spent.

I hope Jacob is doing better today.  That will be a difficult place for a cut. As far as the ticker goes, the way I understand it is that you copy the picture of the ticker and paste it into your signature......... Have a lovely day!

Tell someone that you love them!

Those small bites are hard to remember, we have been eatting this way a long time. As time goes by we start to get the hang of the proper bite sizes. We do learn though from trial and error. I am still learning. Congrats on the great weight loss and good luck. Kids will be kids we protect they will still find away to get hurt!
