I have a problem
Thanks Ronna I hope I feel better soon too, I guess I just did to much Thurs when I went shopping Gee I only went to two fabric stores, any way just have to wait and see,
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Janet,
I agree with the others that you need to be up front with both doctors about what is going on with your knee. Most doctors agree that you can't have NSAIDs after either the banding or the RNY. But losing weight will take pressure off your knees. Exercise wise you may need to look into doing water exercise at a gym or YMCA after you get the ok from your surgeon. The water aerobics puts very little strain on the knees. I've also been told there are exercise videos for that can be done sitting in a chair. Though I found those hard to find. My doctor's office had some they were willing to lend out when I was having trouble with my knee.
Wishing you the best in whatever you decide.
