Sunday Roll Call?

Everyone must be busy today!!!    It's so nice out!    How was that block party yesterday Chris?  Was there lot's of good food there?    (you can tell where my mind is!) Christina, did you get to see Madison?    We need to keep on praying for Lincoln and his family. So glad to hear that Austyn is ok.....I'm sure it was scarey for you and your family Monica. Lisa you sound SO good, it's hard to believe you just came home! Pam

Hi Pam - I posted a few pictures on my profile under "my family".. Yes, I got to see my girl.  She is growing up! We had a really nice time.  The weather today is just glorius!  I've been out enjoying it all day.   Pam, Kristen, Gina.. Tomorrow is your big day.  I'm so happy for you. Have a good one! Christina

How CUTE!   You and Calvin look so unhappy to be there!   NOT  Grandma and Grandpa flowing in their role!    Maddie looks just the same only older!   And that baby pic   how cute!    Are they going to be in your life now?  

We can only hope but our hearts have been broken so many times that I put my guard up now because I don't want to get too close to Maddie then get left out in the cold.  Jessica is now 26 so maybe, just maybe she is finally growing up and realizing that family is important and keeping the grandbabies from their grandparents is the wrong thing to do.  My heart melts everytime I hear Madison on the phone or see that sweet faceof hers.  I'm hoping that I'll be able to make some trips to Indy to see the girls regularly.

I'm sorry sorry to hear about Jessica keeping you all from those babies...but she will figure it out, and soon you won't have to have your guard up!   I know it's heartbreaking!   For you and Calvin both! Yes, the party was great. Part of the money you pay per family goes for the meat and one pasta dish, utensils, plates etc. They got the food from a local catering place that is known for having really decent main dishes, the meat. Then everyone else brought a side dish or dessert.  We brought both of the different side dishes. Ribs and cookies. We had also gotten some truffles chocolates free with a cheese package from WI Cheese Man and we put them on the cookie tray to get them of the house. Our local FD and PD brought fire rigs and a squad and the kids loved it. I am proud to say I stayed away from the chocolates, cookies but not the meat. I had a little bit too fast, but not too much. I had to go home for about an hour to get over the discomfort. Bad, Bad girl!! Yes, my eyes were too big for my belly. I did not go over the 1/2 cup limit but I ate too fast. So, ya see everyone just because you are 4+ yrs out it does not mean that you have changed all of the bad habits in your life.  Yes, the weather is really great, though I spent most of my morning in the house doing some housework. Got the floors washed, lots of things vacuumned, dusted, kitchen spruced up etc.  Now, we are watching Nascar and am going to zone out for a while. CB PS I will be praying for you tomorrow my dear. Thanks Chris.........Sounds like a great time yesterday!   Hummmm That food sounds so good!  I'm sure you can figure out what I get to do today!      Clear liquids and 2 bottles of not so good liquids!  Yuk!  But not as bad as I thought!

Well, I can not believe how beautiful the weekend has been.  I still have so much to do and not enough time to do it. Yesterday, was the dentist and my DS is in serious need of braces (thanks to his sister) so there will go a couple of thousand out the door.  I need to  have a couple of fillings and a deep cleaning of the gums and teeth.  I will also need to see a periodontist because of bone loss (aka I have some gum disease) that has been getting worse over the last couple of years.  So, another couple of thousand out the window for this as well.  Just when you think you are getting ahead. My daught stepped out of the car yesterday and either twisted her ankle or broke her foot.  So she has been whinning and limping around.  She can't go to the dr. because she has no insurance. The Geek Squad came today and fixed the desktop computer again, so I am in business and don't have to share the laptop now. Now I just need to reload software, and files from the backup.  That should take a couple of hours.  I also need to finish up house work and do some laundry.  I have a paper due tomorrow that I have not even started, so that is on the agenda for this evening. I have started my Christmas shopping, as Kohl's has an excellent sale going on.  I found little photo holder/clips and ornaments for around $4 a piece.  These work for some stocking stuffers and last minute gifts.

Pam, The nice thing is that I have quite a small shopping list, so I like to get it done early then when the friday after thanksgiving I go shopping for odds and ends and even myself. I am currently going to school to obtain bachelor degrees in Business Administration and Finance.  I should graduate by December 2008.
