Protien Drinks Again
Revision on 04/19/13
Gina, Ask your questions until you get an answer. I have never bougth from either, since nither place is in my area. But, Krogers or Food 4 Less stores carry Gen Soy brand. Its not bad tasteing. I get the chocolate and the vanilla flavors. Yes, anything I can get in chocolate gets to me.
Good luck tomorrow. It will be over before you know it.

Hey Gina -
Don't spend a ton of money pre-op because a lot of times your tastebuds change after surgery. I was given boost in the hospital then switched to diabetic boost while I was on the liquid diet post op when at home. Once I was able to eat real food I stopped the shakes. Probably at six weeks out. I know some continue to drink shakes. I think even Chris does at 4years post op but I choose to get my protein from food and my lab work has always been good.

I get mine from Vitamine Shoppe. I use Isopure Low Carb Dutch Chocolate. I have tried many but this is my favorite.
I also like Pro-Pudding from Vitamine Shoppe. You can get samples of this. It comes in chocolate (my favorite, no surprise) and vanilla. It has 25 grams of protein when you mix it with a cup of skim milk or hoods calorie countdown chocolate milk like I do you get a whopping 33 grams. I ate alot of this during my pureed days.
Regards and hugs,
Ronna
