Wednesday Morning Roll Call

Good Morning everyone, it's time to rise and shine.  Should be a nice cool fall day today!  Things are a little better here at home, Mike is being really nice and not being an ass again, yet!  lol today I will work, do homework, help the boys continue to switch rooms and also watch Kid Nation and Criminal Minds, I just love Shemar Moore!!  What's on everyone's adgenda for today? Keeping Gina, Pam and Kristen in my thoughts that their recoveries are going well.  I am terrible at remembering things as far as what's going on with everyone!  I'm sorry. I hope that everyone has a great day! Oh yeah, the dogs chewed up and destroyed Jacob's new digital camera yesterday too, so I wan't happy about that! 

Good Morning Monica and the rest of Illinois!

When I turned this laptop on this morning, it said that is was 37 degrees at home........I will FREEZE to death when I return.  Yesterday, we went to the beach at Fort De Soto and it was 90 with a brisk wind.  I even got a bit of a sunburn on my hips.  I better pile on the sweaters!

Monica, I hope Mike shapes up.  Men can be such a pain.....they complain about OUR PMS, but I think THEIRS is MUCH WORSE!!!! I am glad to hear our three newest losers are all doing fine. I am thinking of baby Lincoln also and glad to hear that Janet got her date and Martha and Sandra are coming along soon! I have to get Todd up now so we can have our last day, then travel tomorrow and back to the grind!

Hi everyone. I am up and getting ready to take my mom back home, then take her grocery shopping, then off to the surgeon. Monica, I know how you feel, my husband is not so supportive he won't say either way about the surgery. I just look on here for support everyone here has been great and although it does not make up for my husband it helps a bit. Other than that I will be thinking of Pam, Gina and kristen and hoping that they are doing better. I hope everyone has a great day and I will be on later... Martha

Good Morning everyone, I am running late this morning, I didn't want to get  out of the blankets.   With Dawn returning tomorrow, at least she will be coming home to the beautiful fall weather and  the colorful trees. I ve this time of year. You can wear sweaters, and socks and be comfortable. Just a tad of crispness in the air.  I need to get back to a bedroom I want to finish this morning. For some reason DH has been piling all his stuff that he doesn't want to haul to the basemnt, shed or garage, into it. I went to use the treadmill yesterday and couldn't find it. This will stop! I think he "forgets" where he puts things.  Then I have an 11:00 visit with the foot doctor. I hope he removes the cast and leaves it off..  I am brewing up some energy,                        Hope everyone has a great day.  Lisa

Good Morning Everyone - I've been fighting a migrain for the last 48hrs.  Calvin drove me up to see Pam last night.  It's starting to ease up but it's still there.  To top it off, I got my flu shot and my darn arm is throbbing.  I don't know what that's all about because I get a shot every year and have never had any problems.  That has me puzzled. So, for those that may have missed my post yesterday.........  I was able to visit with Pam for a few minutes yesterday.  She is doing fine, but was pretty drugged up said she wanted the name of the pain med she is taking because she wants it for life.. LOL  She did joke and told me to tell Lucy that she had her thigh high boots on and was practicing for next year.  What she has on are the boots that they put on your legs to keep the circulation flowing and to prevent blood clots.  - I did not stay long because she was very sleepy but wanted everyone to know she is fine just sore and feeling a bit naucious, just the nauciou feeling.. not actually getting sick which is a real good thing. If anyone has tried to call her, her battery is dead on her cell phone and that is why she has not picked up.  Pam is at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, Room 5204 bed 1. Christina
