Roll Call - Happy Friday
Good Morning Everyone -
Happy Friday to you all. Please keep baby Lincoln in your prayers as he undergoes his surgery this morning. Janet posted that the procedure would be 4 - 6 hrs long. She will post an update when she knows more.
Just another long day for me. I'm really hoping that my fence is put up when I go home tonight. We are having the back yard leveled and grated and a new dog run put in and when I came home last night, there was no fence which means I had to take the dogs out one by one on a leash. They do not like to go potty on command. Neither do I!
Calvin and I will be traveling to MD tomorrow for a quick trip to take care of some business with Amanda. Please keep us in your prayers over the weekend for a safe trip. It's a long drive to make in a short span of time, about 1700miles.. Leaving tomorrow afternoon and will return on Monday.
It would have been ideal for the contractor to pull out the tile and replace the floor in the kitchen and bathroom this weekend while we are out of town but it was too short of notice to pull it off. Oh well.
I hope our newest post ops are doing well and we have a few having surgery in the next week or so. Please continue to support these ladies and gents on their journey.
Hope everyone has a great day!
Christina
Happy Friday everyone!
I am keeping many prayers going up for baby Lincoln today as he undergoes his heart surgery.
Also for the post ops on their recoveries and the pre ops on their nervousness.
today is just work again, busy busy busy and then home to do homework. Tonight Jacob will be going to the activity center for a night of fun with other kids his age from school. The rest of us will be home doing nothing! lol
Christina, prayers going out to you and Calvin for a safe trip to MD.
Revision on 04/19/13
Good Morning everyone,
Not much going on here today, I have to do the laundry, and get my stuff ready to take back to work on Monday.
I have a Dr. appointment this afternoon, it makes 3 this week. Wed, I had the cast taken off my leg, I hope it is healed enoungh that it doesn't have to be replaced. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed. Yesterday, I seen Dr. Guske for my 1 week checkup, and today I go see the PCP.
tomorrow I will drive to Bloomington, to stay with my Granddsughter and do some shopping, while my Daughter and SIL are working. Its a hard job, but someone has to do it.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Lisa

HAPPY HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!!
I'm also keeping baby Lincoln in my thoughts and prayers.
I'm off to the chiropractor this morning....having some shoulder pain lately but it seems to be getting better with treatment.
After that, my sister in law and I will be taking a walk in the woods near her house...the dogs love those walks, but they are staying home I think.....they slow us down with all the potty breaks...and we are "training" for another 5K walk next month.
I hope everyone is having a great day!!!
Paula
Happy Friday to All!!!!
I am home from the best vacation EVER!!!!!! We really had a great time.......I am relaxed, tanned and refreshed. I just hope it lasts for a while. Man! Is is cold up here!!!! I HATE being cold. I forgot to tell you all the best part of the vacation was right after we checked in, there was a knock on the door and a bellman standing there with flowers.....FOR ME!!!!!! FROM TODD!!!!! He NEVER buys me flowers, even though I LOVE them so much. It was the absolute BEST thing. I took a picture of them and will add it to my profile when I get a chance.
Now, Miss Lucy is off with Willow to another warm part of the country. I hope they travel safely and have fun!
I am working today, then off again! David's school's varsity team is having their first play off game tomorrow and he gets to go to breakfast with them and hang at the sidelines during the game since he was on the Fresh/Soph tema that made school history by also being undefeated this season.
Monday will be my 1 year check up with the surgeon and nutritionist (tomorrow is the actual surgi-versary). I can't believe it has already been a year! I am slightly disappointed that I haven't lost more, and I have been at a standstill for the last 2-3 months. I will talk with them about it, I sure hope that this isn't the end!!!! If it is, I will have to look at the bright side, but I will still be a bit disappointed.
I am thinking of Baby Lincoln and sending my best to him and his family. I am also thinking of the newbies and the soon-to-be newbies! Everyone is doing so well!
I'd better get back to work now!
Everyone have a WONDERFUL day!!!!!!!
Hi Dawn,
Welcome back, I am glad you had a great trip. My one year was this week as well. I saw the doctor last week and had the same disappointment as you. My blood work is great, all levels are fine, so the suggestion was to up the protein and get more excercise in and perhaps look into getting a personal trainer.
I am of course grateful for what I've lost, and know that the surgery saved me from a downward spiral, but I would love to be one of the "biggest losers" as well.
Happy re-birthday to you. It is cold here, I am usually warm, the last time I felt cold was right after surgery and I am feeling cold again.
Take care,
Mary
