Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning Everyone - Well, we have two special ladies that are probably already in surgery as I type this.  Lots of good thoughts and prayers for Janet & Sandra.  Janet K or myself will post an update later today no the status of their surgeries. What else is going on today?  I'm a litle on the tired side but not too bad.  We rolled into the driveway last night a little after nine.  I was SO glad to be home.  Talk about a long drive to eat dinner with the in-laws!  LOL  Mission accomplished and all is well at the moment.  Well, except for the phone call from Calvin's brother yesterday morning.  Joe proceeded to tell Calvin his arm was numb and he was having problems catching his breath.  Calvin told him to get to the hospital right away.  They kept him overnight and are going to do some additional testing today.  He's in the best place he could be at the moment.  After work I have to pick up a few grocery items for a recipe I'll be taking to support group on Thursday.  I also have to pick up the girls from the Kennel.  I'm hoping to get to bed at a 1/2 way decent time. One other thing I forgot to add...  I have Dee's personal e-mail address if anyone wants to get in touch with her.  Just send me a pm and I'll give you the address.  I hope everyone has a great Tuesday! If  anyone could pm Sandras last name it would be good!   I would like to give her a call at the hospital.      How is everyone?   Kristen, my sister where are you?  and how are you feeling?  Gina?  is she good?   Ronna what about that job?   Janet.   how is baby Lincoln, I saw what you posted from his parents earler.   Kim are you still at war?   I hope so!   You are going to get exactly what you want, you are not going to back down from anyone or anything!   Dawn,   Glad to be back?   NOT!    Ok Miss Lucy.......tomorrow is "show and tell" for you right?   or is that pre-op for today?   I will have to call you later to find out details of your trip last weekend, I'm sure you were living like a nun in phoenix!   yeah right!   lol    Martha......real soon it's your time, take on the Nike statement....JUST DO IT!   I am still really sore but comfortable    so tired and i want to go home but i'm not sure that's a good idea yet!  Chat later guys Pam

Good Morning Illinois!!!!

I am thinking of Janet and Sandra and hoping all is going well for them.  Whose turn is it tomorrow?  I know that Martha is on Thursday, and am sending her good thoughts also. I am back at work and not really loving it.....  Oh well, it pays the bills and could be a lot worse. My 1 year check up went well, I guess.  Both the doctor and nutritionist say that I am doing everything right and to just be patient.  I will try, but it is very hard not to be a bit disappointed.  I will just have to look on the bright side, and there are A LOT of bright sides!!!!  I have to focus on how much better I feel (and look) and how many more things I can do and how much more of life I can enjoy.  Also-------look at all of the new friends I have made!!!!  They took 7 vials of blood and promised that I would get the results within 2 weeks.  I hope they make good on that, at my 6 month checkup, it took them almost 2 more months to get me the results and appointments for fixing what was wrong! Christina, glad that you and Calvin made it home safely and I just sent up a prayer for your BIL, hoping that it is nothing too seroius.  Please try to get to bed early tonight, you deserve a rest.

I hope everyone else is doing well and taking care of yourselves.  Newbies.......sip, sip, sip, walk, walk, walk......pretty soon, you will be eating again!!!!!  Everyone else----make sure to take your vitamins and get in all of your protein each and every day.  Even the "old timers" need to remember this!  Pre-ops.......stick with your program and you will be joining the loser's side before you know it!

Good afternoon!! I am sitting at work getting more nervous as it gets closer to my date. I have not had a date in 4 yrs!!  Are you going to meeting on Thursday? Are we supposed to bring something?? I am going for sure this time

Hey Girl!  I just read your post so I'm sure you're already on your date.  Hope it goes well, you will be just fine.  I bet if it goes well tonight you may have to cancel out on Thursday nights  meeting.  Some are bringing food but it has to be approved by Briana so if you have not submitted a recipe, I would just come as you are.  There will be plenty for all. Can't wait to hear how things went tonight. Christina

Good Evening all... I know this is late I have quite the day, got up went to get hair done, got pedicure, went to last meal with kids and hubby and then grocery shopping ugh.....I am a little nervous today and other than that I am READY.... I will take Pam's advice and just do it...BY that way could some one just push my big butt in the O.R. LOL just kidding...Hope everyone is doing well and Pam and everyone is starting to feel better.... Love Martha
