Having a hard time

I am having a hard time, I am still tired alot and not knowing what to eat... I know the usual mashed potatoes and beans and oatmeal but I want something with some flavor...I am just in a rut I know that but last night I was crying and my poor DH wasn't sure what to do LOL...I just need to vent and tell someone I am having a rough time...Thanks for listening Martha

Oh, dear Martha........ I am so sorry to hear that you are having a rough time.  Those hormones are a ragin', aren't they?  It is ALL completely normal. Have you tried pureeing whatever everyone else is eating?  It may not LOOK appetising, but it will TASTE heavenly.  I ate everything the family ate when I was in puree stage, just used the bullet to blend the crap out of it. Maybe try some black bean soup pureed.  Panera Bread makes a good one if you have one of those around.   You can also visit this site:  www.bariatriceating.com.  They have a message board and on the message board is a "Recipes" section.  In that section is a whole area on pureed and soft foods.  Maybe that will give you some ideas.  Here is the full link:  http://www.beforeandafterhelp.com/index.php?s=d961b8271869c3 506a5cedc90cbbac12&showtopic=8734 Do you like pumpkin pie?  Here is an easy pumpkin recipe that I have home in my fridge right now----I think it is yummy! Pumpkin Fluff:

1 (15oz) can pumpkin puree 1 (1oz) pkg instant sf vanilla pudding mix 1 c. milk 1 t. cinnamon dash of cloves 1/2 t. vanilla 3 T. Splenda Granular 2 1/2 c. Whipped Cream or Cool Whip Beat pumpkin and pudding mix, milk, spices and splenda. Fold in Whipped cream. Chill well. I added a couple of scoops of vanilla protein powder, and I get my protein AND dessert at the same time! I do hope some of this helps and you get to feeling better very soon!   You CAN do this!

I think we had days like this. It is hard to find stuff that has good flavor. pureed soup was good for me. hang in there it gets easier

Martha, I am sorry you are having a tough time, I  too have had my moments too, I you every need someone to talk to I am always home, just P M me and I will give you my phone # and we can talk and help each other over the rough spots, Hope you feel better soon,

      Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. Try a small chili from Wendy's.  Very tastey and just the right size too.

Hugs I know its so hard to know what to eat. I agree the wendys chilli is awsome I had it 2 days in a row with no problems.

Hi Martha..I just had lapband 11/13 and I'm having a hard time emotionally. I can't seem to stop crying! And the bad thing about it is that I don't know why. I hardly have any pain but I just am so emotional. I do take some anti anxiety meds but hate to overdo it. I can't wait to see the doc on Tues. From all I've been reading it seems Wendy's chili is the bomb. Hang in there.
