Duodenal switch info session in Chicago on Monday
Hi! I've had one person on this board PM me, asking, "tell me about the DS," so I thought I'd share with the group some info about an upcoming Chicago DS event.
Every month, Dr. John Rabkin of Paclap in San Francisco comes to Chicago to meet with his "old" patients and give an informational session for those who want to learn about the DS. This month, he will be here on Monday, November 19. Here is the info for any pre-ops or potential revision folks who might be interested in the duodenal switch surgery:
Location: Union League Club of Chicago
Meeting: (Monday, November 19, 2007)
Address: 65 W Jackson Blvd.
Chicago, IL 60604
(312) 427-7800
Time: 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Contact: 1-888-848-THIN (8446)

Dress code: No jeans allowed.
He's a cool guy and there is no pressure whatsoever, or I would NEVER go. I will be there (this is my ninth meeting and I'm pre-op!). If you go, look for me.
