OT: Just a vent

I hate my boss.  I have been sick the last two days with a high fever and the works. (nothing stomachy though..lol).  I am going back today though I am still battling this weird headache I have.  Now mind you, he will not pay me for either of my sick days nor for Thanksgiving or the Friday after, so I am out about $200 on my next paycheck!  This sucks.  It's my own fault for not asking about this stuff before taking the job, but I just think it's ****ty that he doesn't pay holidays, sick days or vacation.  It's no wonder he couldn't get anyone else to work for him!  I am starting to look for a job at a vet now, since that's what I am going to school for.  If anyone knows of anything please let me know.   Okay, I'm done venting...lol Thanks for listening.

Unfortunately, I do not know any vets in your area, but I am keeping my fingers crossed for you that you find something better suited to your field. I AM glad to hear that you are feeling a little better.......hope you are back to 100% soon!

Thanks Pam.  I actually stopped a new vet's office here in town and they said they are always looking for people.  I got an application and will be filling it out this weekend.  It would be nice to get my foot in the door of a vet for school too. And you are right, all I kept thinking about while I was trying to rest and sleep the last two days was how much money I was losing and how was I going to make the bills I have....it sucks!

Hey Monica, I can totally relate to work stress. My job is pretty simple but my superiors are extremely complex. There have been many times I just wanted to leave but couldn't ( the insurance covers my WLS****ep my re-birth in mind and take it in stride. I hope you feel better sugarpie and relax a bit this weekend. When you go back in on Monday hopefully u will be rested and have your game face on Take Care, Jazzi
