Thanksgiving

Does anyone know what they are either taking to someone elses house, or what they are serving for Thanksgiving? I will be taking   Mash Rutabaga                              Black Cherry Jello SF                              Meat and Cheese tray                              Pumpkin Fluff sprinkled with nuts For the newbies:                                1 can solid packed pumpkin                               1 8oz carton of FF Cool Whip                               5 packets of Splenda                                                    Mis all together and refrigerate. Serve in small wine glasses or bowls  Put a dollop of cool whip on top, and sprinkle with nuts. This is very light.    Lisa

I am bringing a Gingerbread Pumpkin Trifle(courtesy of Paula Dee-by the way her auto-biography is a GREAT read!).  My daughter is making the family Sausage Stuffing from my late Mom-but I'm the only who has the recipe and it's not written down so she better be nice or I'll leave something out!  Roast Turkey, mashed and sweet taters, of course Green Bean casserole, corn and I will make gravy when I get there.  None of my girls can make gravy no matter how many times I show them , so at holidays I do have a purpose on this earth!  I'm sure a pie or two will also show up some where-I'm just satisfied w/a taste of this and that and being w/the kids.  Later I go over to my sister's and have dessert w/her so it will be a full(not tummy-wise) day!  Wednesday I also go to my sister's and make the stuffing for her- as my mom only told her how to do the bird and me the stuffing-I guess she wanted to make sure we spent some time together.  Can we spell manipulative?  Just playin'- I miss her her like mad.  Have a grea t day, Lisa and many blessings to you and yours.  Happy Thanksgiving-Hugs-Janet K

I have to talk to my mom today to see what she wants me to bring.  There won't be many people there this year, but that's okay because my mom is having major back issues again (she's already had 2 surgeries) and we don't want her doing a lot.  We will be there all day helping her. Happy Thanksgiving all

Okay here it is just because I like you i will tell you 1 1/4 cup cold apple juice 1 pkg sugar free vanilla pudding instant 1 cup canned pumpkin 3/4 tsp of pumpkim pie spice or apple pie spice In a mixing bowl combine apple juice, pumpkin, and dry pudding mix. Beat on low speed for 2 minutes. Stir in pumpkin pie spice. Let stand 5 minutes. Serve on graham crackers.

awwww...that Pumpkin Fluff sounds heavenly!!!! Too bad I will be working on Thanksgiving...so no turkey for me!!  But I think I will try that fluff recipe!! sounds yummy!

Hi Lisa. I am lucky that my mom is doing all the cooking. I just have to show up! I am going to eat the turkey though, as it is good protein! Lucy  - soon I will look like this!
