Sunday Roll Call

Good morning everyone! I'm up bright and early, going to Michigan City Indiana to meet a new guy. We're meeting at the Blue Chip Casino for lunch and then some light gambling. I will be careful though. No expectations other than a nice lunch with company. Christina, I am sorry to hear that you will not be able to make the party on the 1st. But, I understand that you need to get that foot taken care of.  Well, next week at this time my PS will be over with. YAY!! I'm starting to get a little anxious now. I will be working all week even on Thanksgiving so that I can get everything taken care of at work. I'm asking everyone who is coming to the December 1st party to think about when we should start partying. I have the clubhouse all day and evening until around 3 am. I do need some starting time so that I am not sitting at the clubhouse for hours with no one there, especially since I will be 1 week post-op. I will be very busy all week between work, hair appointment, PS appointment and getting everything ready. Have a wonderful Sunday! Hugs, Lucy

GM Lucy and the rest of IL. Dave and I are getting up early to go to church, breakfast then we will sit at a local establishment and watch the Packer game with the rest of the Cheese Heads up here in the Dells. This place has WIFI so I think I will take my PC with and surf while there. We are having a very relaxing time here and are getting a lot of walking exercise. We walked over 3 1/2 miles on Friday and yesterday. Yesterday afternoon we went to see the Oakridge Boys Christmas concert and it was fabulous, such a wonderful blend of male voices. There was also a great praise and worship by many in attendance to their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ in many of the songs near the end.  Well, need to get ready to leave and go to church. Good Morning Lucy and all, I havent posted in a few days. I have been busy working, babysitting, baking, working at the school my cousin teaches at helping with the classic car show that was yesterday. I baked 7 babana breads to sell and they all sold. Now I am getting orders!!!!! Do I see a baking business!!!!! NOT!!!! I sure would love to come to your party Lucy but due to the prices of flights to Chicgo at this time of year it is impossible. I do need to come to Chicago to see my kid but Ill have to wait. I am hoping around the 12th of December for a day or so. We will see what the flights are. I need to come up there and kick her butt for not wanting to find a fulltime job!!!! She is 25 and can work fulltime and quit bugging me for money!!!!! Ok done ranting!!!!! Well I am off to work today after having yesterday off. We went out to dinner with our cousins. It was kind of a late night. It was fun I hadnt seen one of my cousins in 25 years and he didnt even know me!!!!! he recognized the voice but not me. He thought I was my sister. Well off to Starbucks then work. See ya all later. Hello Lucy and IL, Good luck at the Casino and with the new guy.  As I read your post, the first thought of Michigan City and Lucy would be the Lighthouse Outlet Mall :-)   You will have a very hectic week, and I will be keeping you in my prayers for surgery. I am doing some work from home this morning and then off to the store for some odds and ends. Has anyone used Splenda granular ?  I use the regular packs but have never tried the granular.  I am going to make fresh cranberries and I have heard the granular works well. As far as our party, what do you think about  3 or 4 p.m.  I know I cannot last until the early am, lol What are others thoughts?  You are going to be the Queen of the clubhouse sitting and relaxing as you should. Chris-  I hope you and Dave enjoy the game.  While I was up there, I had some out- of- this- world cheese from Carr's.  I did not do the tour, just bought some for bringing home for daily doses and gift giving.  Christmas Village was remote, but it was just what I needed, peace and quiet, I did lots of walking around my little chalet and used the pool and sauna.  Are you staying up through the holiday ? Christina, I am sorry you won't be able to make it, but you will be getting your foot taken care of and hopefully you will be running and jumping by Christmas.  I've had minor foot issues here and there and those were so painful, so I feel for you.  I'll be adding you to that prayer list as well. Mary, Dave and I are here for 9 days starting from Friday morning. I have put a lot of hours in since the end of September up until about about a week ago and I needed to get away. For your info Carr Cheese has an outlet in the downtown Dells on Broadway. They have fresh cheese curds there 6 days a week. We have gone to the factory in Pardeeville and it was great, talk about fresh cheese.

Good Morning Illinois,  Lucy, you sound  busy this week. Just remember to take some timw for yourself.  You set the time you want everyone to come for your party. Did you want us to tell you what we will be bringing? I am staying home today,  making a brisket for dinner, so DH will have some sandwiches for the week.  Also am taking care of some odds and ends that need doing.  Monday I will be seeing Dr. Guske, and Dr. Hart. By taking off tomorrow, I will only have to work 2 days this week.  I hope everyone gets in some serious relaxing today, as we know, the next few weeks will be hectic. Lisa  

Good Morning Everyone! I'm at wor****il about 1ish.. then I need to head home and get ready for my evening at Bakers Square.  I think I'm on the schedule for four more shifts then I'm off until probably mid January.  Oh how I'm looking forward to the break. Construction should be starting soon on my house.  I can't wait for it to start and be finished.  I've never had a big soaker tub w/ sep shower so that is going to be exciting.  Calvin will not have a problem finding me! I'm disapointed I'll be missing the party but I know there will be others in the future.  I have to get started at least on one of my feet before I lose my sick time at the end of the year and since he had a cancelation I jumped on it. Good afternoon everyone!  I slept kinda late today because my sister and brother in law were over all day yesterday until late.  We played Star Wars Monopoly with Tyler and Jacob and the darn game lasted 5 hours!!  We also played Life.  It was fun playing those older games and the boys loved that they were included too.   Today I am not doing too much I hope...lol   I have to finish laundry, do some homework, run to the store, help Tyler with a Spanish project (should be fun, since I don't know Spanish!), help Mike fix the fence finally and then I have class at 5pm.  Aww heck, guess I to have a lot going on today!  Better get started I guess. Can't wait for the party on the first, still not sure what we'll be bringing though.  Any suggestions??  I'll miss you Christina!!  Take care of that foot though!
