Yesterday and Party Plans
I don't care what time the party starts, Mike and I will be there. We blocked off the night for this.
I am still having a hard time figuring out what I can bring though. Being pre op, I haven't had a chance to experiment with things that you can all eat. Anyone have any suggestions on what they would like us to bring?? I'm open.....
Chunk cheese, small fruit tray, premade up tray of cold shrimp and ****tail sauce, veggies and dip. We can eat just about anything just smaller amounts. Some of us dump (me a little, Dave a lot), how about looking through that list of recipes that I sent out (I think I sent it to you) and see if something strikes you. The recipes with pictures are also on my doctor's web site. That salsa (Tex-Mex . . .) dip/salad is great as are a lot of the other recipes. http://www.lifeweighbariatrics.com/Holidayrecipes.html here is the link. The cozy curried pumpkin stew was made by Christina and was really good. The deviled eggs were also fantastic (the eggs were quartered instead of cut in half and they went further and we do not need as much), as was the pumpkin ricotta mousse and the other apple pumpkin spread. Check out the beef and bean dip. Hope some of this helps.
