Monday Roll Call

Good Morning Illinois!!!!! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!  I tried yesterday morning to post here, but OH would NOT recognize my password.  I even had them email me the information in case I was doing it wrong, but I was doing it correctly, it just would not let me in. I had a nice weekend.  I spent Saturday lunching and shopping with a friend that I haven't spent time with all summer.  I got the CUTEST pair of shoes (thank you Christina!!!!!)  They are really high heeled Mary Janes.  Todd is going to LOVE them!  I have the perfect school girl jumper to wear them with.  (Talk about naughty.........) Yesterday, I pretty much layed around and finished the book I was reading.  I chose not to do anything I didn't want to do on my birthday.  My family took me out to lunch at Golden Corral, where the waitresses brought me a dessert that I would not eat.  I gave some to my daughter and took the rest home for them.  Maybe that is why the family chose that place......... DAKOTA WON!!!!!!  They will be traviling to Champaign on Thursday for the State Championship to be played at 1:00 pm Friday.  My son is really excited to be able to travel with the team and have this experience.  My husband will be going down with friends on Friday.  I have to work here and Olivia will be helping the Girl Scouts.  She is kind of bummed about that, but she was commited to them first.   What is going on in YOUR world today?

Good morning Dawn.  I had a very busy weekend. Saturday was weigh****chers and then the rest of the day at my sister's house. I went to Target to buy a plastic shelfing unit. Now I have to return it because one of the legs is the wrong size! I hate that!! Sunday, well my date cancelled because he worked all night! So I spent the day at the Grand Victoria casino and came home with a little more money then I left home with. It's going to be a very busy week for me, gearing  up for my upcoming plastic surgery. Thanksgiving will be at my mother's house, so at least I don't have to cook. Have a great day! Hugs, Lucy

GM Dawn and the rest of IL. Dave and I are sitting here in our little hotel room on our respective computers working or surfing. You all figure out which is doing what. We are eating in today for breakfast with left overs from Saturday's dinner. I have my walley and Dave will have his left over steak. Good eatn'. We even have enough food left over to get another meal tomorrow or the next day. We plan on going to Portage today to do the historical house walk. It is a cute smaller town (I think about 7,000 people) with a good old fashioned downtown shopping area. It is refreshing to see small town America with local businesses still going strong. And it is really neat with the fact that this town has a Wally World and it is far enough out of the central shopping district to not affect these shops. Chris

Miss Lucy do you see what you have done?   You've corrupted Dawn now with naughty and the baby devil!   Shamey on you!  LOL    Sounds like you had a good birthday Dawn!   Lucy should have called......I would have met you up at Grand Victoria!    I was bored yesterday! Chris it has to be so pretty up there with the fall colors.....I love it up there!    What a great escape! Ronna where are you?  Have you got a job yet?    And how was your concert? Pam, the colors are long gone. They were at their peak when we here over Columbus Day, the second weekend of October. The concert was fantastic. They have such a wonderful blend of male voices and the second half of the concert was all Christmas music.  Chris

Pam, I love it! The more naughty ones here the better! Now, if only we can get Christina to be naughty, that would be awesome. OK, Christina you've got a challenge! Pam, I'd be up to go again to the casino with you! We'll have to plan a day. I've got some comps coming and $33,00 food voucher too. It could probably feed both of us and then some! Lucy

Let's plan that.......I think it would be fun........Maybe after the 1st of the year?    that way we both can be a little bit more healed!    I can alway bring my friend with (he would leave us alone) we can use his comps for food....why waste yours....he has a bout 3000 comps just on the buffet!    We need to get Chris to be naughty too!     She can be a spitfire at times too!   

OK, Miss Pam that's a date! I found one slot machine I liked on the ground floor - no smoking area. After the 1st of January, it will all be non smoking... Lucy

Yeah a date for gambling!    I like the video poker machines down there too!      You did really well if you played all day and came out $27 bucks ahead! Now....what time is your surgery?   and is Willow going to post an update on you?  

My surgery is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. I can ask Willow to post an update on me. She can use my computer when we get back to my house. If not, I probably will be able to post the next day. I might be drugged out of my skull, but I'll be on the computer. LOL! As long as I am not nauseated, etc.... Soon I will be in swell hell and look like a mummy with my mummified head! Lucy
