Tuesday Roll Call
Hi Lucy!!!! I am SOOOOOOOOOO happy to see that you are feeing better! I was getting kind of worried about you and not sure what to do to be helpful. Glad you are pulling out of it on your own. Reading old journals sure does help sometimes!
Keep up the positive attitude, I love to see you back to your naughty, naughty, fun self!
Hi Christina......I've been missing you! How is Calvin? Are you both any better about him having Lap Band?
Kristen.....Miss Lucy is trying to play but is getting ready for the PS.......so she may be a little distracted........We have to keep reminding her that she has a pre-op appt. tomorrow! It's her favorite thing to do....... huh Miss Lucy!
Where are you Janet K.? You seem to come off with the best comments of all! And how are you feeling!
Pam
Well, kids I see that some of our regulars, MIA's and a long lost PO checked in. This is good.
Well, the only thing that I bought today was some minor things at Wally World meaning a couple of Christmas decorations and some Handi Wipes. HAHA, Handi Wipes you say. Well, I cannot find them around me at Jewel, Ace or other places by me. Not even my local ma and pa grocery store. I find them to be the best for disposable wipes in the kitchen. When they get stained I throw them away and they dry real fast and do not get sour.
I also bought very little at the mall. The only thing I came away with was $75 in socks for the two of us. I did notice the reason why I usually do not buy much in this mall and it is because they mainly only sell sweaters, casual tee shirts (colored and long sleeve), shoes, sweat shirts, ugly print tops (probably could not sellit in their regular stores) and sports wear. I have plenty of all of that. You would really be hard pressed to put together a complete outfit to wear out to a nice restaurant or night out. They only place there that has really, really nice clothing is Coldwater Creek and they are really pricey. I love their clothing but rarely buy from their catalog.
We are lounging in the room for a while then we will go out and walk again even though it is dark.

Hello
Illinois. I have been getting home later and later it seems, and going to work earlier. Also need to go to the post office, I will do that Friday. I had my first fill yesterday, had some soup for lunch, and it promply came back up. ( just a few teaspoons), the same at dinner.Today is a bit better. I just hope I can eat a bit by Thursday.
with a short work week, and a long weekend, I am in heaven.
Lisa

Nicole, welcome to the board and congratulations on your recent surgery. Come back anytime you can and check in with the rest of the board, we are here to help answer questions. And if one of us does not have an answer we will try to find one for you. My DH had his WLS with Dr Rantis, great team of doctors that you choose.

Lurking in the shadows like the turkey looking at that ax! I have been so sick this past few days-I feel like 8 days of rain. All I do is go from one DR. to another and each one wants to do something that sets off another problem from what they did. I'm like a tennis ball in a bad match. I can't eat w/out pain-but they can't figure out why. The surgeon says there could be 3 or 4 underlying issues "brewing", but until something comes to a head I just have to bear with it. Chris B is right-they are just PRACTICING medicine! I picked up a really nasty head cold some where also. Saturday night I hit my paper shredder w/my wound vac and the office looked like NYC when the astronauts landed. Tried to clean it and jammed the vacuum-so I was up until 1:30 unplugging it and swearing like a truck driver! Jerk boy is running hot to cold-I never know when he is going to have a mood swing- and w/all the steroids I am on, he is getting on my last nerve and I don't think he really appreciates my sharp edged wit. I have a tongue like a viper when provoked and he i****ting all the right buttons.
The frosting on the cake of my saga is when the toilet erupted last night at 11:30,all over my new rugs I just got Saturday. So I had to call maintainance over to unplug and clean up, as the last time it erupted I used all my old gunky towels to clean that mess, so in came the shop vac at 1 a.m. Then I got to disinfect everything-Eddie is a transplant recipient and immune suppressed, so even if he's a putz I can't let him be exposed to germs like that even for a few hours. Now mind you I'm doing all this dragging around this %#@#& wound vac and hauling the O2 tank also. It had to look pretty funny! I must say after last night-Eddie was wise enough to give me wide berth this morning- He's seen me use rose pruners! I am hoping to feel more holiday like as the cold gets better, and as for the belly pain-it's just like Eddie- a pain in my posterior portions! At least I won't over eat-I'm just glad I didn't land back @ CDH eating turkey flavored ice-chips for the holiday! Tomorrow, Joyboy has an early gastro appt., I told him it's the meanness coming out that has his stomach upset, then when he goes to work I will make my dessert for Thursday, nap and then I have a hot date w/Baby Lincoln to teach his mom how to make the family Thanksgiving stuffing. Barring any further household disasters, I anticipate a nice 2 days coming up and hope the same for all on the IL board. Lucy, you hang in there-get ready for your surgery and your Dr. visit. Great job Kristen-22 lbs.! Dawn, I will think of you and your in-laws as I sit in the coven w/my daughters Thursday. That family night sounds like a hoot though-enjoy! Miss Pam-I am fine-maintaining and watching my back. Chris and Dave hope you are just having a great time-I love the Dells any season. And let's not forget Miss Christina-she has a very heavy plate right now and needs all of us to keep her her spirits up-she's always there for us. Let's bombard her w/positive vibes ! I'm going back to the shadows where it's safe and wait for the insanity to ebb-hugs to all-Janet K
