Friday Roll Call
Anyone going shopping today? We are driving to Madison to go a source for the LED lights. This place we know for a fact that they have the lights, it is mentioned on their web site. I also want to just walk as much as possible. So other than that there really is nothing much going on with us other than I need to start getting organized to go home.
We have a Christmas musical to go to at the Broadway Music Theater tonight. It is secular program with dancing, Santa and in the end they have the Nativity story. We went last year and it was really good. It is a dinner theater.
Well need to get the coffee rolling. Have a great day.

Good Morning Chris......Have fun fighting thru the crowds!
One of my drivers came back this morning that delivers at walmart, he said at 4:30am there were wall to wall people!
Mad house people and so very brave!
Anyone else fighting that stuff today? especially best buy and places like that? Tell me who are the brave ones on this Illinois board! Tell me what I'm missing! lol
Pam
We really are not going to any of the malls, we are too old for that craziness. I did that for several years because the out laws, I mean in laws came in from IA, but not anymore. We probably will encounter a little traffic but not much. Walgreens is about all I can handle now a days, HAHA. I really do not think you are missing anything. I prefer to buy on line now, though I do miss the touchy feely of picking up a package and reading about the product or a side by side comparison of boxes.

Just a tongue in cheek comment. They do drive me nuts and I am glad they all live out of state. Dave saw his mom for the first time in 3 years a couple of weeks ago and all she said was, "you look different". He was really hurt because of how much weight he had lost. So, we are happy to not see them.
My family is a pain also. I finally had to embarass my niece into not asking me "how do we feel now since I have lost weight". Come on there is so much more to talk about in this life than how we feel. Come on we did not go through a major illness or were in the hospital for pete's sake! Some people have no idea how many times a PO is asked how we feel, it gets really old. We usually say - we feel with our hands or normal. People need to come up with a little more creative of conversation starters.
Sorry, off my soap box now.

Good morning Christine and Pam!
Christine, I wish I was there with you and Dave! Your day sounds more fun than mine.
Pam, are you at work? I am not one of those who would get up in the middle of the night and run through the stores. Yuk!!
Well, I'm less than 24 hours away from the big day! I have a few last minute things to do... pay the real estate tax, get my post-op prescriptions filled, change my bedding, change the light in the garage and if I can do it, find my wreath to hang on the front door but on the inside of it! And I said that I was going to rest today. HA!!
No coffee for me tomorrow morning! Willow and I will be at the surgicenter at this time tomorrow. I can't believe that it is here...
Happy Friday and weekend everyone!
Lucy
