Post-op Visit with Plastic Surgeon
Good evening everyone! I did get an appointment to see Dr. Madry this morning. He was so booked up. I got my ace wraps and drains removed from my face. I am swollen but it looks good. I have to wear an ace wrap around my head for support this week. So I will look like a partial ninja for our party!
My hair was so matted up from being smashed and from the drainage. I was able to take a shower and wash my hair. I will be washing my hair every day to get all the crusty stuff out. My right ear, the part where I wear an earring was bent up. No wonder it hurt so much!
I am very swollen from the lipo too and I expected that. My implants were removed and my boobs are smaller again. I am happy about that.
I don't have to see my do****il next Monday. By then, I will be back at work. I might have to buy some larger size clothing - nothing expensive to get me through the swelling phase, as my clothes are all fitted. That's okay as I can donate them later on.
I have to tell you that Willow was there for me and she went out of her way to take care of my needs. She is such a dear friend! I knew that I was in good hands with her watching over me.
I want to thank everyone here for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes as well as concerns overy my recovery. You are all the best!
Hugs,
Lucy
Hi Christina. It really felt good to get the bandages off my head. It was so tight and felt like hard plastic at first. It was a real shock for me when I woke up in the recovery room.
I did get very tired after my appointment and short trips into walgreens and trader joes. My chin and neck and ears are so sore, I definitely have to take my pain meds. It's only 48 hours after surgery so I think I am doing good.
Thank you for your message. I am thinking of you and your upcoming foot surgery!

Hi Ronna. The shower did feel so good. I have to work on my hair though, I'm afraid to disturb the crusty parts but need to work them out of my hair.
My doc checked me for nerve damage. Happy to say that I don't have any!!
Now to get through the swelling phase...that will take some time.
I may wear a long wig on Saturday to cover up my bandage and smashed hair.
Hugs,
Lucy
