Dear Miss Pam: I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your Grandmother, but she lived a long life.  You are SO lucky to have diaries from her.  I keep saying that I am going to do that for my kids, but I never seem to get around to it. Please accept my condolences and know that I am thinking of you.

Oh Pammy Pooh, I am so sorry about your grandma and yes your prayers were answered. May you have peace in that she died in her sleep and was not feeling any pain.  Chris & Dave ps we will miss you tomorrow. Hey, you've got mail!

Good Morning everyone.   Christina is in my thoughts and prayers as she has her foot surgery today. Janet is in my thoughts and prayers that one of those Dr's can figure out what is wrong and heal my friend! Pam, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers on the loss of your grandmother, 98 is a good life and she sounds like she was an amazing woman!! Tyler, Jacob and I are getting ready to head out to the funeral of my exes grandfather, the boys great grandfather.  I just loved this man.  He was the only one in the whole family that never treated me different throughout everything my ex and I went through.  I will miss him.  They are only doing a graveside service as he was cremated when he passed. It's so cold and windy out though, so I am hoping that it doesn't make me more sick than I am. I will NOT be at the party tomorrow because I am one of those friends who isn't feeling well.  I have a sore throat and also losing my voice, oh yeah and I also woke up yesterday with not 1, not 2, but 3!! cold sores!!  I am so frustrated!  Tyler also woke up with whatever it is I have.  So no partying for me, I do not want to get anyone sick, especially Lucy, who is so recently a post op!  I will miss everyone though and can't wait til the next get together!! After the funeral the boys will stay with their dad and I will head home, it's all the way up in Des Plaines at the Ridgewood Cemetery on Central and Milwaukee, so it's a haul for us.  

HI Lisa and IL Board, Christina is definitely in my thoughts and prayers, too. I am off work tonight (not a bad deal...I only worked last night....after a 3 day weekend...I like a short work-week)...not sure what the b/f has planned.  I'd like to go to see a play, but he wouldn't enjoy that.  We thought about heading out to see a band play in Palatine....but not sure that's gonna happen either.  UGH!!    That massage yesterday was heavenly!   I've already booked another one for next week.  I guess since it is done by massage therapist interns the price is a lot less than in a spa.....But here's a cool thing, they have gift certificates...Guess what I'm giving out for Christmas...lol. Anyways, I am driving in to pick up my race packet for the Jingle Bell 5K...Looks like we will have a fairly good turnout for our group....I managed to recruit a few of my co-workers to join in on the fun. However, I think Copper is staying home for this one, unless the weather is decent. Sure wish I could make it to the party on Saturday, but I will be working this weekend. Good Afternoon Illinois! I am thinking of Christina as she is getting ready for her foot surgery today. I had my hair done last night and it IS different.  I think that I like it, but it may take a bit getting used to.  It turned out WAY different than I imagined.  She didn't ask me about color or show me any choices.  She just mixed it up and put it on.  Is that usual?  I put a picture on my profile if anyone is interested.  It is not the best picture, but you get the idea. I am also sorry to hear that Janet K is sick again.  I DO hope that the doctors can figure it out soon.

I wish I could be with you all tomorrow, but we will have to do another get together very soon.
