Party Cancelled
Well, one by one called and cancelled out. So I called Chris B. to see what I should do. She suggested that I cancel so I did as there were only 3 possible people coming.
I went back to the clubhouse and packed everything up, brought it home and put it all away.
I hope everyone is safe and sound.

Lucy, I think that you made a wise decision. Dave came home from church at about 315 and he said it was really slippery. We may not even go to our party in Bartlett tonight. Everyone's lives now after WLS are too valuable to go out in this icky weather.
We will all get together at a safer time.

I'm so sorry Lucy but I knew I wouldn't have been able to make it not with having to "hug the throne" most of the night
I've been watching the storm out my den window and saw the first car crash of the season. A guy in a pick up going way to fast as ususal....he must have been drinking as the police took him away in hand-cuffs.
Today is a good day not to be on the roads.
We'll do it again sometime and by then you will be looking gorgeous

Lucy, After temping the fates and coming up to the Lapband support group, DH was very certain that we would head home in the daylight. I had been looking forward to the party, but I slso realized that even if we could get around up there, we live in a smaller town (15,000) and have to drive alot of country roads. We hit a lot of ice coming home. but we got here safely.
I was so sorry to have to cancell, especially after you had all the work of planning and such.
