Friday Roll Call
Good Morning Christine & Illinois!
We got probably 2 inches last night and the roads were worse today than they were a couple of days ago when we got more. I guess we can not expect such great plowing service for the whole winter!
I got the kids to their activities last night and David's concert was more enjoyable than usual due to the fact that they kept it short and sweet. They usually drag it out until most of the audience is ready to scream (or sleep)!
Not sure what is up for tonight, but now that Todd's birthday is behind us, we can start working on Christmas.
That support group sounds like a lot of fun!
I did not hear about freezing rain tomorrow.......is that just for the Chicago area?
I'd better get back to work.....everyone have a lovely day!
Regarding Saturday's weather - I just looked at the weather report on line and it looks like they have changed it. It was supposed to start sleeting after noon time. Well, that is good news.
Sounds like an inprovement on the band concert. I have been to a lot of them that would do the same thing, drag it out and you are sitting in the school gym on the backless benches, ouch! Usually up to two hours long with the combined choir, band, jazz band, symphonic band and orchestra. Jeeezzz, they all think they are so great and sometimes they are sleepers or someone cannot carry a tune and then there are other times that the talent is fantastic and the kids could be professionals.
Have a productive weekend.

I did enjoy the support group last night. I had fun stealing Barbies blender thingy. I felt guilty though, but not guilty enough to let her keep it!
Christina sorry I did not get a chance to come over and say Hello! I was glad to see you there, you looked great for a lady with a sore foot. Christne was right you should have put that foot up. We would have all understood, after all we are all family in an extended way. We are ther to give each other support in anyway we can.
Christine and Dave it was nice to see you both again. I do hope you did not break your camera on taking any pict of me last night! LOL!!!!Shelly it was good seeing you too....
Well I am about to hit the road to home. Going to stop by Ikea on the way to get a couple of Christmas presents.
Have a great day! Stay safe and warm.
Karen
Karen, no my camera is not broken. I tried to be courteous of everyone and not get close ups because I know that most pre ops and POs do not like to have themselves in pictures. It sure was great to have you as a tablemate and chat with everyone.
Take care. Need to get back at my chores.
