5 yr medical records question.....

are medical records from my annual gyne exams acceptable for ins purposes?? I am going tomorrow for my 2007 annual and I know that I could get the copies of the last 4 years right away for free. I guess I am wondering if this will be acceptable.  thanks

Hi Monica, Yes, they are acceptable.  As long as you were weighed at the appointment.  Glad to see things moving along w/ everything w/ you.  You will be having surgery before we know it.

Kim is correct with that being part of your medical history. I know that my GYN always weighs me when I go in for my annual. The only time I was not weighed was when I went back in for followup uninalysis when I had an UTI.  Christine
