Wednesday Roll Call

Good Burrrrrrrrrrr Morning Everyone! I am doing well today, and finding that I am able to get by with taking my pain medication at night.  I am trying to focus on setting my self up on a schedule that will work for me, so I can get all the drugs, vitamins and proteins in.  I know it is cold today, but this sitting in the house is driving me bonkers (cabin fever), so I am making my DH take me to the container store for some shopping and exercise.  I am now counting down the days to the pureed stage, as this clear liquid diet thing is really starting to get old.  I have had no problems with eating 4ozs, so I do not know if that is good or bad.  With liquids I still can not tell when I am full or not, and I am definetly not going to pu**** My intestines are still gurgling and making lots of noises, but no out come as of yet (no poo).  So I think that I will either pick up some colace or MOM and see if this will help.  I am also needing to make all my appointments for post-op follow up,  and I too guess I need to go to that class tomorrow as I am going back to work on the 7th.  I was not going to go to that class, but I would not be able to go to it until March.  I just don't know if I can handle sitting in a room for three hours. Ronna, good luck on your first day on the new job.  I hope everything goes well. Michelle, I guess I will get to see you tomorrow at class.  I hope you are doing as well as I am... To everyone else, stay warm and if you have to go out remember to cover up as much exposed skin is possible.  It is my understanding that it should be a warmer day tomorrow. Good Afternoon everyone,  I am still in this weight stall will it ever end??? I am just wanting the scale to move some... Any ways Today I took my mom back home and I am just sitting here waiting for DH to get home so we can go to the health club... I hope everyone has a great day...

Afternoon to all. Been to and from work and then to Staples and Home Depot. Had to make a return to Staples and then I went looking for a shelving unit we saw at Menard's. HD has a similar unit and I think it is about the same price as Menard's, just need to talk to the DH and see what he thinks about what I saw. Just trying to get organized in our old age, better late than never.   Well, just going to lounge tonight. I am still having issues in the dept with the antibiotics. I guess I need to call the doc tomorrow. I just hate bothering him on his day off for a issue but this is a royal pain in the rear. Maybe I have another bacterial issues or another virus that needs to be attended to.  Chris

Hello again!!! I had to come back and tell about the movie we saw... I let my 7 year old pick it out this time... We saw The Water Horse... It was SO good I loved it and so did DH and the kids! Such a cute movie we had a great time... I have corned beef and cabbage cooking I know we are a day late but we went to a friends last night for dinner... Have a good night everyone! Blessings Jenn

Good evening Dee and Illinois, I am posting very late...work was great, but I did have to pick the coldest day so far this winter for my first day I got home pretty late and was cold to the bone so I made some soup for dinner and then sat down to get some more work done....I have a small mountain of stuff to read through. My first day went very quickly and before I knew it it was time to head home.  Even the traffic wasn't too bad. Thanks to all of you for your well wishes and support during my job search. Can't tell you how much your encouragement and support has ment to me.
