Hey Everyone
This time of the year I am so wanting to be in Florida where the sun is shining and it's soooo warm. It was 2 degrees here with the wind chill of 20 below. I heard it got down in the 20's in Florida
Now I know the world is coming to an end and there goes my eating fresh oranges for months to come.
Last night I went to the gym and took a 45 min core class and then a cardio kick boxing class. This one was a little different than what I used to do and I really liked it.
So my friends, Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today? Come on, we are doing GREAT
I am feeling so inspired from all of you and just know I am going to get back to goal soon

I did.......even though the bed was nice and warm, I bit the bullet and got up.
I did a few miles on the bike then some resistance bands and some stretching. I was getting back on the bike, grabbed my water, and lost my grip, spilling it all over the carpet. I had to get off the bike and grab the carpet cleaner to suck all the water out of the carpet. That took the rest of my time, so I did not get to finish my cardio. I will try and jump on it this evening while the boys are away.
I can't WAIT for Spring.....this weather is awful. I hate being so bundled up (4 layers and gloves) and still feeling cold. That's why I will ride the bike----I stay warmer that way!
Everyone------do more exercise today to stay warm!

I am ashamed to say it but was going to the morning class until I heard how cold it was. Well, mother nature got the last laugh... As I was going to the gym last night I heard it was about as cold as it was this morning......
Oh well, they say we lose more in the cold.

Hi there!!
I am going to watch a 4yr old ice skate....somehow I think I may be talked into joining him.
I did some time (cuz it is like a prison sentence!!! LOL) on the treadclimber....20mis to be exact.
Other than that, I've been pretty lazy since the 5K on New Years Day. (BTW, Karyn B and her friend showed up...how cool is that!!?!?!?)
My lower back was hurting terribly after the walk, but my chiropractor has now joined a practice in Naperville and is up and running !! (YAAY!! cuz I missed him for those 3weeks waiting for him to set up an office) I am now somewhat back to a normal amount of shoulder pain...and no lower back pain....so I have NO EXCUSES for not hopping on the exercise wagon.
Hope all is well with you, and that Rocky is snuggling with ya...dogs are great cuddlers, ya know.

Yes!! My awesome chiropractor just joined a clinic in Naperville...It is off of I355/Maple ave....I think it is in the Naperville Commons...? does that make sense?
Anyways, he is absolutely the best....he explains everything to you, and he was the guy that came to my rescue from stabbing shoulder pain...and he also sat and talked for about an hour with me the day I had a total wig-out due to work stress. I highly recommend him!!!
He is very WLS friendly (his best friend had RNY) and he is not one of those chiro's that only works on thin folks....he made me feel comfortable the first time I met him. Very supportive and really good at what he does!
I will be seeing him at 10am tomorrow (Friday)....call me if you are free....but if not, I am sure I will be back to see him next week.
I am still thawing out from the NYD 5K....hopefully with the warmer weather expected this weekend, I won't feel so darn cold into my bones!

I am going to move today as soon as my hubby gets home we will be going to the gym, yesterday I signed up for a personal trainer for 10 sessions we will see if this helps this stall...I am just tired of being at the same weight for 3 weeks now going into 4 weeks soon...So tonight I will do the tredmill for 30 minutes and stationary Bike for 20 minutes hopefully all will go well.... Kathie I see you live in Plainfield it is funny because part of my family lives out there and others live in Romeoville and Boilingbrook.... Ok everyone have a great day....

I know how hard it is to start working out, but it will be worth it in the end-----you will feel so much better.
Just remember.....muscle weighs more than fat, so you may have a small gain or stay the same for a bit, but I'm sure it will get moving again for you!!!!
