My 2008

This year so far is not starting out good, if what has happened to me the last few days, can I stay under the cover until 2009? On Wednesday I went to the doc finally about my shoulder, and it is nerve damage. Yippee, and now I have to try not moving it for a while to see if that helps, if not, who knows. I have one small problem with that, I am left handed, and it is my left shoulder. I came home from the doc, and noticed that my mom was breathing funny. She ended up telling me her chest hurt very bad, and she had tears in her eyes. I ended up calling 911, and they come and take her to the hospital. They ran every test known to mankind, and can't find anything, except she was doing and looking better after oxygen, and they got her heart to slow down, it was beating too fast. After about 6 hours in the ER, we came home with mom, and just wanted to relax. Think that is gonna happen? My chihuahua Tinker was cuddled on my lap and we had a blanket over us due to me being so cold. She started scratching me, and I pulled her out of the blanket, and my 5 pound chihuahua now has the head the size of a bull dog. No vets offices are open it is now 8:30 p.m. We ended up taking her to a local animal ER. She got 3 shots, and we still can't determine what she is allergic too. Due to the shots she got, she is up too pee every half an hour, for joy! She is doing better now, and the swelling has gone down a lot, but she has to take benedryl for 5 days. Well, I think that sums up my 2008 so far...lol

Now Dee, let's think about this, while it hasn't started out great, things could be worse right?  Thank God that your mom is okay and was able to come home from the hospital with you and thank God that your little furbaby is okay as well.

Dear Dee: I am sorry to hear that you are having a rough start, but as the girls say, look on the bright side----there is ALWAYS a bright side! Hope things are going better by now......

Oh Dee, I feel for you. I do agree, this has not been a good start to a new year for you. Maybe the gremlins are done now, since they hit you witha triple wammy already. I hope your shoulder is feeling  betterand you are able to rest it. I hope Tinker has gotten over her allergy attact. And I sincerely hope your Mom finds out what happened to her.  Hugs
