Tuesday Roll Call
Good Morning Pam and everyone else too!
I am keeping Kim in my prayers that they are okay and their house didn't recieve any damage from last nights storms. How strange to have this weather in Jan. My sister lives in Rockford, but with her if I haven't heard from her, she's okay.
Michelle called yesterday and said that when she gets the 5 yr history, which should be today, she will be sending things to the ins. SOOOO I have no clue how long it will take after that. For some reason I have a feeling in my gut that I will be denied at first.....anyone else feel this way?
Keeping good thoughts out for Calvin today too, how exciting for him and you are right, he's in great hands both during and after his surgery.
I have to work today and will probably leave early, I know that sounds silly but my dogs do not do well with storms when they are alone...they will chew up everything in sight and we have no where to put them that is safe. It's a long story of why this happens now, but it's bad. I gave them all some calming meds this morning and hopefully that will hold them over til either I or Mike can get back home.
I hope everyone has a safe and dry day today....
love to all!
Hi Monica.....I had that feeling of being denied waiting for my paperwork to come back.....And I did! But I was denied over something that concerned my pcp, so he took care of it and resubmitted and was approved in 2 weeks, so the length of time was 1 month.....2 weeks for once the paperwork was sent and then again after the doctor resubmitted. Then, my insurance changed, so resubmit again, and was approved in 3 days with the new insurance company. First was Aetna, second was Excellus Blue Cross Blue Sheild....Hope this helps.
Thanks Pam, yes it always helps to hear stories of others that feel the same way. I got an email from Michelle today saying that she's working on the letter for the ins and she will let me know when it all gets faxed to BCBS....then I think they have 30 days right? Wow...this is reallly happening...lol
