Kim lives in the town which was flattened by a tornado this afternoon. She hasn't been on the board and may not even have electricity yet. Keep her in your prayers and thoughts!

What a day it was yesterday!!!!  I had the TV on folding laundry and the weather guy came on said if you live in Poplar Grove to take imediate cover.  I woke up baby Joey from upstairs and woke up Ryan and I had all 4 kids up along the wall and we went over how to cover our heads ect.  We are all safe and the tornado did not hit our neighbor hood.  I live a few miles from the apple orchard and that is flattened the barns and the house that are on the property have to be rebuilt!  Some schools were just letting out and they had the kids go back in the building and take cover.  This brought back some bad memories from 1977 when there was a tornado in Belvidere that whiped out the school and several kids were killed.  Thanks for your prayers, but we are very lucky it did not affect us in our neighborhood!!!

Kim so glad you are safe!  As well as your family!  Too close for comfort!  Edwards Apple Orchard looked terrible last night on the news!   So very glad to hear from you!

So glad to hear you are safe! I thought about you all night! I know the Hall's at the orchard--what a mess! It does seem like the earlier tornado in Belvidere. Take care and thanks for letting all of us know you are OK!

Kim I am so relieved you amd your family are fine...I am so afraid of tornados...One came right down the middle of the highway once where I live today and sucked out all the windows on this old house...I did not live here then. Back in 1999 we were at school picking up the kids on the busses and the warning came so the school took all the kids back in, sent them out 15 min later only to take them back in...We did finally get to take them home but about 1 mile from my house the 3 kids that lived there got home to find their home gone! So I have thanked God your fine and safe.
