Hi..usually on VSG board but thought I'd pop in and say Hello!
Thank you, Dawn. I hope to get to know you better, too. I have isolated myself so much over the past few years that I need all the friends I can find.
Yes, we do have the same team. I just hope they approve me. I have Medicare, so that's not a problem. I'll have my third visit with the nutritionist and psychologist this Friday and Monday. It must have been something I said.

Hello Sherri, Welcome to the board!!! I would encourage you to look for a support group where you live... I really have made some friends in mine and it's a great place to go... I go to a support group through a hospital I did not have surgery at and they welcomed me with open arms! I hope you experience the same! Blessings Jenn

Hi Jenn! thanks so much for the welcome. I am trying to figure out how to find a support group in my area....The hospital is a great start...I will try there...if they don't have one then maybe they will at least know how I can get in touch with one...we have TOPS and CURVES and things like that but I am more interested in a bariatric surgery support group...that deals with eating issues as my food devil comes out sometimes when I am not expecting it..lol
hugs
Sherri
WooHootiHoo! I have made it to 109!!!! A total of 190lbs lost!
Hi, I'm from Bismarck - right outside of Danville. I go to a WLS support group at Carle Clinic in Urbana. They meet twice a month and it is ran through their bariatric department. If you don't want to drive that far, I would check with local doctors. I checked in Sarah Bush Lincoln's site and they didn't have one listed with their support groups. Good Luck!
