Good Morning IL!  Today I have work, which have been shortened days this week due to being really slow.  I also have to go to Borders where a book I special ordered is in....too bad I can't remember the book!  LOL   I am also anxiously awaiting news from Michelle that everything was faxed over to the ins.  I also have more homework to do, I really have to catch up, I am SOOO behind.  I took one test yesterday and got a 96 so that made me happy.
Other than that it's the usual, workout, homework and chat with the kids, which I have been doing for a while, just to touch base with them.  (a 7th grader in their school hung himself over winter break and I make sure I always know what is going on in their lives)

I hope that Calvin is coming home today and that Christina's foot is on it's way to finally being completely healed.
Have fun working out a****er aerobics Jennifer....I loved that class when I was part of the park district too.

Hope all is well with everyone else and that we see some of the people who have been hiding lately!!  come out come out where ever you are!

Monica, How sad about that 7th grader!  These little minds today are not what they used to be!  Kids take so much in these days!!!  My heart goes out to the family.  That's the only thing you can do, is to talk and love the kids as much as possible.  Be open with them, so they can tell you EVERYTHING!!!!!  Maddie tells me every once in awhile that she has a bad feeling in her heart and we just sit down and talk about it.  Last year we had a situation that scared us to death.  Maddie came to me and said she was going to take her jump rope and tie it around her neck and jump off the stairs balcony.  Needless to say, we do not have jump ropes in our house anymore and we immediatly called her doctor and we got her into couceling.  That is when the psychologist in Rockford did a horrible job w/ her and I have lost hope in all Rockford psychologists!!!  It's amazing how Maddie will open up to me and tell things!1 Keep talking to you kids and tell them that you love them everyday!!  I think Maddie was given to me for a reason!  She sure has put me through alot !  But I love that little stinker!

Congratulations on the test score! It is also awesome to see that part of your "usual" is to workout.  That was the hardest thing for me.  Now, I don't feel "right" if I don't work out. I agree that spending time with your kids is also a huge priority and am very sad to hear about the 7th grader.  I worry about Miss Olivia at times because she is extremely sensitive and it takes nothing to send her into a crying spell.  We must be sure to keep our children close----great job! Have a lovely day Monica!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good Morning Jennifer and IL~ I don't have the kids today, so I'm free all day!!!  I think I'm going to head back to bed for awhile and then get up and do some scapbooking.  I have some laundry to put away and some light cleaning to do.  I have my WW's meeting tonight and am really excited about that!  I have been doing so good on it thus far and I have worked out everyday!!!  I will post later tonight to fill everyone in how my weigh in went. How is Lucy?  Is she okay?  I miss her little *****!!  I'm really worried about her!   Chris, don't you feel much better when you start to get things organized in the basement?  Shelfing units are one thing that you just don't want to spend $ on, but once you have it, you will always have it and it will keep you rlife decluttered.  I'm a bit of an organizational freak!!!  My dream job would be to go to peoples houses and clean closets and rooms, basements ect and get paid for it!!!  I hate clutter!!!  If I don't touch it,think about it or use it in 6 months it's in the garbage!!!   I hope everyone has a great day!  Half way through the week!  Keep smiling and be safe!

Good morning all,

I am back after a few days of not logging on here.  I was feeling great since my surgery and then something happened to my energy.  I felt like I had the flu.

Yesterday I went to the dr to have my drains removed.  The nurse practioner told me a few things that helped me to understand how I have been feeling.  She said that my body has now realized that something happened to it and it's in shock.  I should start feeling better in a few days.  Also, I told her how water makes me nautious.  She said that it acts like lead on our stomachs after surgery and if I cut it w/ crystal lite it should be fine.  Boy, she was right.  While I didn't get in my 64oz I did get in the most thus far since surgery.

I lost 19 pounds!!! I thought about putting up a tickler, but I have no idea what my goal weight is.  I just came into the 200's.  I thought it would take a few weeks for that to happen.  Hubby asked the last time I saw the 200's and I couldnt' remember.  3 or 4 years ago, I'm guessing. The absolute best news is no more liquids.  I seem to have a little more energy now that I am eating pureed.   I just had some refried beans for breakfast, and I am ready to move! Hope everyone has a great day today. ~Michelle
