It's funny how the weather is here but it doesn't seem to stop people from doing stuff.   Or at least this Illinois board!    Martha....I'm going to call your DH or daughter and tell them to hide that scale!   You can save yourself a lot of grief by not hopping on that scale every day! Nothing going on in my life today except getting my van fixed......what a headache!    Christina how is Calvin doing today?  Or should I say how are you holding out?   I'm sure you're not completely healed up yet either!  Take it easy on that foot. Where are you Janet K.......haven't seen a post from you in a while...... Everyone have a good day and have fun over the weekend.

Hello Everyone - Calvin is doing really good.  Dr. R. really beat him up w/ the hernia repair so he is sore but overall, I think he's doing great.  I think I'm going to have to lock up the scale!  LOL  He's already hopping on that evil thing.  He kept telling me that first few months after my surgery to stay off and now I'm telling him.   I'm getting ready to run him up to have his blood drawn to see where his liver enzymes are at.  On Wed they were extremely high. I just have some cleaning to do.  And some nursing stuff to do to keep Big C on schedule. I hope everyone has a great day.. Right now it's raining it just really seem very blah out there. Christina

Hi All, I have been extremely busy at Super Cuts with the snow birds down here in Florida. Making good money and not missing the weather up there. I am flying to Denver on Thursday for 5 days to see my Doc and get some things done. I need to come to Chicago but will wait til May now. The holidays were slow and not to much going on. Carla Klein

Evening all,

Well even though I didn't want to, I got out today.  I ran a couple of errands and then headed to the mall for some protein and a walk.  I am so exhausted today.  I must not be getting enough protein in or something.  I came home took a nap and am now having a protein bullet. I did go to the food court for a banana smoothie.  So far I am lucky that I am able to tolerate the yogurt.  I ordered a small and the lady says for 60 cents more I can get a medium.  This was the first time in my life that I said no.  It felt strange.  I took my few spoon fulls and carried the rest around.  For some reason I couldn't make myself throw it away.  I am so use to finishing everything. As for the weekend...nothing.  My only plans are to pick my daughter up tomorrow from her field trip.

Kim, you and your family are in my prayers.  I pray for your fathers speedy recovery. ~Michelle
