Good afternoon all. I had sort of a pins and needles day waiting for Dave to call after his interview. He finally called at about 2ish and told me that they sent him home with a new employee packet (insurance, benefits etc), he is going to meet with a potential new boss next week here in the Chgo area and they are flying him down (TX) in 3 weeks for some sort of training. This was all a total shock to both of us. They want him as a regular employee but Dave has opened the doors to the fact that he would like them to consider him to be hired as a manufacturer's rep like he is now. They want him to fax his current contract that he is working under so if they go that route they want to make sure that he is being fairly compensated. Can you say WOW? This is all going fast. I am now waiting for him to call that his flight has landed. It is due in somewhere around 630ish the flight is an hour behind schedule at this point.  Monica, have you considered going to your law enforcement agency and speaking with an officer about what you have been experiencing with this nasty neighbor? You can go there for advise only and tell s/he that you do not want them to contact her as you just need some direction. Could she be jealous of you for some reason? Like you have a great relationship with your kids and husband etc?  Well, I need to do a few things while waiting for Dave. Talk at ya all tomorrow. Chris

God is so good. It is unbelievable. Neither of us have been very uptight over the fact that Dave was loosing his job. We had from the very beginning put it into the Lord's lap and left it up to Him. That is so hard for the breadwinner. A job loss for a man is a big slap in the face.  Chris

Yay for Dave!  that is awesome, but then again so is he.  I am so glad that this all worked out for him!!  woohoo....

As for the neighbor, I have no idea as we really aren't friends at all and never have been.  Her son and Jacob are the same age and her daughter and Austyn are the same age, but none of them have ever really been friends.  I think she may be jealous of the fact that my kids and her other neighbors kids are best friends and they are always playing together whether it's outside or at one of our houses....
Maybe she's upset that I work with that same neighbor at his business....I really have no idea, but like I said, I don't like the fact that it seems like she's targeting Tyler in all of this.  Heck Tyler wasn't even here on Wednesday after school when she said that the first incident happened.  lol

Yeah, I guess that I hit the nail on the head yesterday by saying she is jealous of you, your kids and other relationships you have in the neighborhood.  Instead change your reaction to her actions and do not get drawn into her anger. Rise above her even if it is really, really hard. You are the better person. It may never get better between you and her and it may even get worse. You can handle it. Chris
