Saturday Roll Call

Rise and shine members of the IL board and get out of  Get those shovels ready again because more snow is on the way. I know Lucy has hers ready and waiting because she likes to shovel the snow for exercise. I looked at the 10 day future weather and just as long as it does not snow next Friday when we go to the Dells we are happy. It can snow all it wants between now and then. I have a massage booked and I am not going to miss it! I could not sleep I was having ****o  dreams. I think I was more restless about Dave's job interview yesterday than anything, not in a bad way but just unbelievable what God has plopped down in his lap. He is slated to meet with another hiring team member next week here near home and then they want to bring him back down to Dallas for some training in 3 weeks. They even sent him home with the benefits package. I thought they did not present the benefits package until the 3rd or 4th interview.  Dave was leaning more towards a position like he has now as a manufacturer's rep but now Dave is not sure about that he might want to go full time employee. They do not have man reps but are open to the topic. We have to sit down and pray over the pros and cons, get other people's views on negotiating this and then seek in the end God's input as to which direction to go. But for us right now it is going OH SO FAST.  What is going on in everyone's world today  Dave and I have some errands to tackle this morning and then we need to be at church to serve lunch. Afterwards we have a surprise 40th B-Day  party to go to in Bartlett.   Need to get moving as I have laundry drying and another load in the wash. Good  Morning Chris & IL - I bet you were somewhat restless thinking about the pros and cons etc of this opportunity that has been given to Dave. I trust all will work out the way it's supposed to.  God is good.   I'm at work this morning, will probably be out of here by noonish then need to go home and do some cleaning.  I do need to hit the gym today too.  Not much else going on in our world.  Next weekend we will be traveling too so I hope the weather is dry.  My granddaughter's birthday is on Valentines day so they are having a party on the 16th for her.  I'm so looking forward to seeing the girls. Good mornin everyone, Today I am going to stay as busy as I can. I have been gettin pretty nervous about the surgery on monday,! Now is cram time... getting everything ready for the kids and getting the house ready for my mother in law to come and stay. That is a chore in itself. Well I bettr get back to the kids. Good Morning IL friends.  It's going to be a good day....I can just feel it.  I slept good last night except for when I woke up with a coughing fit....lol   not sure what happened there. 

Today Mike and I are going to the Old House New House Home Show at Pheasant Run Resort.  I love going to these things to get ideas for my own home, since it's pretty boring and not decorated at all.  :-(

After that we are going to use another gift card and go to Bennigans for lunch.  Then it's home and homework and housecleaning for me. 

Tomorrow nothing on the agenda besides more cleaning and laundry.

The dinner dance last night was fun! We had a good time and enjoyed seeing the students all dressed up. Boy my college formal dances featured much more sedate clothing than today! But I'm dating myself there....  

Today I have no plans, love these kind of weekends, maybe read, maybe go to Cannoli Cafe and hang out...yea, I like that one!

Good Morning Snow Buddies, I have already been out  and doing things. I had to take a good friend to the ER this morning. She had fell last night, andthought she had broken a couple of ribs. She didn't, just brused them, but that hurts like heck also. I got her home  and settled, then took DH his car, picked up my van ( it was behind his in the drive this morning so he took it to work) and went for an oil change. It was only abit overdue. Now I am home, wanting to make a meatloaf for dinner tonight, needing to get on the Gazell, and finish picking up the house.  Have a great weekend. THINK SPRING Hugs

Happy Saturday Illinois, Just got home from the YMCA and Trader Joe's.  Got my exercise in since it was lacking this week.  Plan to write a paper for my graduate class and do some laundry, then out to dinner with friends and back to their house to play Wii....burn off those calories, LOL.  DH is out ice fishing on our lake.  It's so beautiful outside, but I guess the bitter cold is returning tonight into tomorrow.  Stay warm!
