Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning girls and boys of Lincoln Land. What's cookn?  Not much on the schedule for me today other than work, work, work. I will be all by myself and I can listen to whatever I want  on the internet radio or music I have on my PC. I will come home afterwards and finish up a small amount of house cleaning in the form of the last bathroom and then check my packing list to make sure I have just about everything that can be done at this point. Other than that not much else going on.  So what is going on in your lives or the lives of your kids, husband's or special someones? We are looking forward to getting away for the long weekend. Dave is still waiting for the other person to call him for a local interview, but that is in God's hands right now and we will wait on Him for it to happen.  Well, have a safe and productive day. Smile at someone that looks like they are having a bad day or let someone else cut in front of you in traffic. God looks favorably done on His children when they are gracious to someone else.   & Christine

Chris, I am so sorry, I have been so wrapped up in myself, that I didn't know Dave lost his job.  I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for ya all. Going to the Dells this weekend?  We are still planning on going, and I still have the information packet you sent me. I would love for the Illinois board to have another get together when it gets warmer, I would make this one if I have to crawl there...lol Not a lot going on in my world today.  My nephew Travis is 31 today, I am feeling 40...lol  Here is the GREATEST news ever though.  Remember this past year when baby Taylor was so sick we didn't think we would have her on this earth too much longer?  She is thriving, and now has become her Aunt Dee Dee's sweetie.  She is turning 1 on Saturday!!

What a beautiful little girl she is!!  I am thrilled to hear that she's doing so well.

Good Morning Illinois. Nothing on my plate today but work. We will be going some place for dinner tonight with friends..Same for tomorrow, but then a 4 day weekend. My company finally saw the wisdom of staying open on Lincolns birthday, and joining the rest of the world and closing for Presidents Day.  I was just checking the weather on MSN, and they are showing a big yellow orb for today. Make sure you all peek outside now and then today to see if it really makes a showing. Who knows  when we will see it again, Today is going to be casual. I am wearing a pair of blue jeans and a Lands End signiture sweater. (the navy blue with the flag on front). My daughter have given it to me a couple of years ago, as a Xmas gift, and I felt it was a bit snug. Put it in a drawer and forgot about it. Got it out over the weekend, and even if it isn't "big" on me, its a lot looser and looks good. I love shopping and not spending anything. I still cannot get into a new pair of jeans that I have and never worn, but by spring, I hope to. Otherwise by fall they will be too big..  Have a good day, Hugs

Good Morning IL Friends. 

well I am happy to report that I cancelled my surgeon's appt for my lump that I was supposed to have today, because it's gone!!  yay...I was so excited about that.    Now I just have to get through the next week of other appts for my WLS.  Tomorrow I see Dr Hart and have my ultra sound, Sat is Dr Crane's seminar and then next wed is my diet class.  Hopefully I will have a surgery date soon....I really need to get things arranged with work and life.

Today I am working til about noon and then studying and cleaning.
Nothing really exciting.  I also have to call the transportation people from the boy's school because there are kids throwing things around the bus and hitting them, things like shoes and also alka seltzer tablets.  they also try to hit the driver...and she does nothing about it. 

The sun is out today!!!  woohoo...everyone have a wonderful and safe day!!

OH!!!!  I am SOO happy to hear that the lump is GONE!!!! How cool is THAT!!!!  Good for you my friend!

Thank you Dawn.  that has completely eased my mind and now I can put all my concentration on getting my surgery date and getting healthy!!!  yay

Monica, so glad that that lump is gone, But, i would still ask the Dr about it, to see what it really is.  It sounds like you will be a busy girl for the next week, and then you will closer to the losers bench.  Dee, nice to see you up and at them this morning' hugs

Oh don't worry Lisa, even the surgeon's office said that as soon as it comes back again (IF it does) to call them right away and they will most likely remove it and see what it is.  It's most likely a cyst of some sort they said....
