Monday Roll Call

Good Morning everyone,

 We had a nice weekend here except for the fact that I am sick and now the kids are too.... YUCK.... Yesterday was my Birthday and I am getting older that is YUCK too...LOL We didn't do much yesterday for the fact that Saturday we went downtown and saw Jersey Boys, Stayed in a Hotel and Went to Morton's for dinner it was a Christmas Present from my older Son and it was WONDERFUL.... Jersey Boys was out standing....I enjoyed it so much other than being sick... I am still fighting what ever this is and am not sure how to get rid of it, I will call the doctor today and see what she wants me to do. My Mother in Law is visiting and that makes it even harder to rest. I hope everyone is well and doing good, Is everyone ready for more snow? Not me.... Well need to go and get a shower and get moving...Have a great day

Happy Birthday Martha!!!!!!! (a day late) Sorry to hear that you have the "sickness".  I am just now starting to feel better and I had it for a week.  The ONLY thing you can do is sleep.  It seems like every timy I woke up, I felt a tiny bit better, but if I stayed up too long, or did too much, I felt bad again.  It must be some strain of the flu, one that my flu shot did not cover. Hope you are feeling better soon!

GOod morning!! Just sitting around and waiting for the snow to come. i have to wor****il 8 in our lasalle office which is a 20 min drive from home I hope the weather is not too terrible!!

Please drive safe and stay warm on your way home.  In this area, that is when it is 100% chance of snow.

Hello... I went to my water class this morning... My oldest daughter, Serenity is in counseling and I will be going with her tonight... We decided that we are going to go to Kentucky March14-17 Serenity's B-day is the 15th she will be 13 and she is excited that we are doing that for her B-day... Dawn, I am glad you are feeling better Monica, I hope Tyler gets to feeling better soon Michelle, Nicole looked Beautiful for her dance! Carol, I can't wait to start taking walks outside! I am looking forward to doing that, as soon as Spring gets here... Martha, Happy Birthday!!!! Sorry you and the kids aren't feeling good... Hope you are feeling better soon... Dear Jenn: Good for you keeping up with the exercise! It is HARD to have (and be) a 13 year old girl.  I hope the counselor can help you both.  I am thinking of taking my 11 year old to a couple of sessions to help us cope with each other.  My oldest daughter will be 30 on Wednesday and we now get along very well.  She was not really rebellious as a teen though.  The younger one though.....she is a completely different breed!

Hi Dawn... Thanks so much for the encouragement! I divorced my children's father when Serenity was 5 years old... I also just had a baby my second Sierra who is 8, and I was preg with my son Stephen who is 7 at the same time that I left him... He had 2 other children while we were married and I ran out of forgiveness... She has had a hard time adjusting to having a sister and a brother and not being my only child and issues that her dad won't be a part of her life... I am re-married now but she pushes her step-dad away... She has been through a lot It breaks my heart to see her struggle with all this... she made a comment the other day that she has no good memories of her and I since I've had her sister and brother... I try to give her 1 on 1 time but it doesn't seem to be enough... I wish you the best with your little one as well... I would not want to their age... My mom and I struggled from about 15-25 So I guess it's my turn... I am so Blessed to have my mom! I don't know what I'd do without her... Oh best believe I have told her how sorry I was for the troubles I caused... LOL Jenn

Thanks Jenn,  How did counseling go tonight?  Kentucky sounds great especially now with the weather like it is.  Do you have family there or is there a particular place that you go? ~Michelle

Hi Michelle... Counseling went well... I really like the counselor so that helps a lot I am very comfortable with her... We have a long road ahead of us but I am willing to do what ever I can to help... I am not perfect by any means... Serenity is my oldest so I guess she will make the way for the other's... She thinks I am too over protective... I am willing to compromise on some things but not on other's... Make up and boys are big issues right now.... Aggghhh LOL.... I meet my husband in Kentucky... Murray Ky... It's close to Paducah... I have a cousin that lives their too, and my hubby's family... I am really looking forward to going! Jenn
