Tuesday Roll Call

Wow, I am the first one today.  Well things have been interesting.  I again can't go in to it, but let's just say not going good.  Prayers and good thoughts my way will be much appreciated. I have been up all night, and boy does the middle of the night get boring.  I have been trying really hard not to get on the scale, because I just feel this isn't the best week for me with what I am eating.  I am glad I have TiVo now because the TV in the middle of the night stinks.  Well I know it is a short update but again please prayers and good thoughts my way please

You are first because we let you be. I have been here doing other things. I do not always have to be first even though it seems like I am, just that I am an early bird. So, you don't like infomercials, huh? I am there with you. Well, later today I will go see my bro, Jim after work. Too much snow for me to feel comfortable to drive in so I will walk to work instead. I found out last night that my sister from IN is coming up. She might stay one night with me and one night with one of her kids.  Chris

Good Morning Everyone.  Not sure about all of you, but here in Streator eveyone has school today, no snow day. I was up at 4:30 a.m. and the plows had already been down the street. Hubby has shoveled a path to my van, and I will leave a bit after 7 to go to work.  No wind, so the trees are all covered with a thick frosting of white stuff. Channel 7 said we got (here in Streator) 1.4 inches. I would like to know where itr was measured, since there is at least 5 inches on my sidewalks. Not sure how today will go. Somestimes on the worst days we are swamped with clients.  Everyone be careful and stay safe today. Hugs

Good morning Barry and Chris. Barry, I send you some thoughts and prayers. I sure know how things go and what can happen... Chris, congrats on walking to work in the snow. More activity points for you! I hope your sister comes and you have a nice visit. Keeping both your brother and SIL in my prayers too! Well I was busy this morning. I shoveled my long walkway, my entire driveway and part of my neighbor's driveway before coming to work. My hair was all wet. Luckily, someone had a hair dryer here. My hair was soaking wet.... The roads were slick and snow covered. I am happy to be here at work, drinking a very nice hot cup of coffee and thankful I wasn't in a car accident! Ok, I broke down and actualy weighed myself, since Friday I have lost more weight!  I am now at a grand total of 91 pounds lost!!!!!!  FINALLY GOOD NEWS FOR ME!!!!!!

Can you believe this weather?  I am just SOOOO tired of it.  Today I get to chaperone a field trip for Jacob, we are going to China Town!!!!  I can't believe they haven't canceled this trip. It's cold, the roads are slick and it's supposed to be super windy.  I am actually NOT looking forward to this at all.  Tyler is still home today sick.  Not as high a fever anymore, but a low one and still feeling poopy. 

After we get home from the field trip, I am going to try and do some homework and make dinner.  Then no plans.

Hi all, happy Tuesday to all!  Congrats on the weightloss, 91lbs...thats AMAZING!!! Well I found out yesterday that the information has been sent to insurance so now its the tedius waiting game to see if they will approve it I'm so nervous! Trying to keep my mind off of it though and trust me, I have plenty to do.  I called and got Charter cable yesterday (after almost a month of no TV) and my DH is supposed to be waiting on them between 8am and noon.  We finished cleaning out the storage unit yesterday so now yet again our apartment is filled with useless junk that I can't quite figure out why I bought in the first place.  So I will have quite a few ads coming on the freecycle!  lol.  I still haven't decided if I like my apartment.  It is kinda small, but for the price its nice.  I am having a heating issue, and with as cold as its been I am so scared of our heating bill.  We have to jack it up to 75 to keep it at a cool 70 and 80 if we want it to be closer to 75.  I don't know what the issue is.  I checked the neighbors furnace and its always going on and off and is HOT....where ours is only lukewarm and the air that comes from the vents is lukewarm at best.  It doesn't make any sense, our furnace is only a few years old, theirs is ANCIENT. Sorry, I'm just venting.  I am so tired of being cold all the time, and the few space heaters we have are only assisting in hiking up the heating bill.   On a better note, my son cut his first tooth last week  so now my DH calls him "one tooth tommy" whereas before he was "gums mcgee"  he is silly.  Well I guess thats all thats going on in my world, I gotta go and get to work, gotta love United Healthcare!!

In regards to your furnace,  check the filter.  In some cases, the filter get icky, then it does not work as efficient as it should.  If it still is not working properly contact the manager to have them get it serviced.  Oh it may also be the thermastat that has gone bad.
