Monday Roll Call

Hello, I wanted to check in... I have been so busy... and stressed to say the least... I did go to my water class this morning I am trying to stick to my work outs as much as possible... We had 2 meetings today at the hospital with Serenity... She will be coming home Thursday evening... and the doing out patient Fri-Fri and back to school on the 17th... Lisa, I am so sorry to hear of your loss... Jackie, Congrats on your approval! How exciting! Chris... I am keeping you and your entire family in prayer...

Hi Jenn. Being busy can be stressful. I would have thought the water class would be relaxing. I maybe naive, but is Serenity your daughter?? I must be braindead since I have this head cold. Forgive me. I hope all works out for her. Take care and get some sleep! Hugs, Lucy

Hi IL~ It sure has been a crazy few days!  I took a break from cleaning the house to post an update.  I am very upset w/ my husband and inlaws right now, so when I get mad, I clean.   I will be going to the lung doctor on Thursday for a test that you blow into tubes or something, then that night, I go to my sleep study.  After that, I hope I can get a date.  This would be the second time I have asked My mother in law to come and help me out w/ Maddie.  The first time was when my dad was real bad and I wanted her to come so I could be at the hospital.  Then tonight I called her and asked if she could come on Thursday and spend the night so I could go to my sleep study appt. and I would be home first thing on Friday.  The first time she had to watch the neighbors dog, and this time my father in law has to go for a stress test Friday morning.  WHATEVER!!!  She then said that I should let her know when my surgery will be, so she can come up and help.  I rudley said that my recovery time will be short and MY family will be there for me!  Now this lady does not work and my FIL got laid off, so hes not working.  My mom is going to ask my 18 year old brother to come and spend the night and I will give him gas money.  Then to top it off , after the flu I got a sinus infection and now it is in my chest.  The good news is that my dad is progressing slow, but good!  They took the foley out and the trak tube out.  Today will be the last day for tube feeding, but he has promised to drink 2 shakes a day!  He is only 98lbs now.  No I did not mistype that .....he is 98 lbs!  We want to fatten him up!!!  I have continued to say my prayers for everyones family exspecialy  Chis and Jenns!  Well I better get going I have 2 more bathrooms to clean and dust and vacuum!   Hugs, Kim

Hi Kim. I am sorry that you are experiencing one thing after another. I know how it is with a sick dad.  He is too thin and needs to eat. Those sinus infections can be quite nasty. I had one that lasted months. I have a cold and am so congested tonight; I don't think I will be able to sleep.  I hope your sleep study goes well. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
