OT......SPRING!!!!

Ok Just wanted to ask how soon after you see the first ROBIN is spring? I seen 2 on Sunday afternoon in my back yard. I got soooooo excited. Keep in mind here in central Il it was 61 on Sunday and 32 on Monday!! I do hopw it really a sign Spring is soon!!!!!!!!

I am NE of Peoria, in LaSalle County, and I know we didn't get 32 today Thank goodness all that snow that was predicted stayed E of us.  I WANT SPRING TOO!!!!! It will happen, one day soon, then like a flash, we will be in wonderful summer. I think I am going to buy DH and myself bikes ( two wheelers), so maybe, we can get out and enjoy the spring. Whenever it comes.

I have been pricing bikes. I want to go bike Rock Island trail. Its very popular with the bikers old and young. I hear ya about the snow we did not get any either. I guess bloomington, springfield got our share.  Karen

I hate to tell you but all the robins don't go south for winter. They just move around a bit, so you can't predict spring with robins. The cardinals are doing their mating calls, though. Spring will be here when it gets here. But you can bring on Spring by wearing brighter colors and cutting off some branches of a forsythia and bringing them into the house and putting them in a vase!
