Just wanted to say hi to all of you wonderful people from Illinois! I had lap band surgery on Feb. 20th. I live in Palatine with my husband and my pup. I used the Kane Center in Elk Grove. Anyone else? Anyways, just wanted to introduce myself and I can't wait to meet some of you nice people!

Hi to a fellow lap bander. And yes, I used the Kane Center too. There are a lot of us. Don't be a stranger, theres a great group of people on here,a nd we really do care about each other.

Ok I am not part of the group that went to the Kane Group, but I am a fellow Lap Bander, and one of the extremely few guys on the board, so I wanted to say hi as well. I can say this is a great group of people and you will love being active here. I know I do, and even though I haven't meant anyone here in person yet, I consider all of them friends! We are planning a meet up in April, so feel free to contribute, and maybe we will see you in April!

to the IL board, everyone here is great, I am not from the Kane Cneter but you will find alot of people that went there, Nice to meet you,,

      Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Lap Band on 03/15/07

Hi and welcome! I am Gina and I live in Aurora with my 2 kids, 2 dogs and 1 cat along with my husband. I didnt go through the Kane center but I have been banded for almost 1 year. My bandiversary is coming up fast - March 15th. I just realized I need to update my ticker big time....... You will love it here. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Gina
