Anyone from the Greenville or carlyle area

Just wanted to say how and see if anyone is from my area.

Nope....can't say that I am, but welcome to the Illinois board.  There are tons of great people here on this board and I'm sure SOMEONE is close to you. Which part of the state is Carlyle?

I actually live in Pocahontas I am in the southern part of IL- I am 50 miles east of St Louis

Dee S is from your area, she is in Woodriver. Christine PS BIG welcome  and stop in anytime, glad you found us. I will echo what Dawn and Carol said that you are welcome anytime to stop in and say hey. We are a great group of ladies and then there is Barry and Dave (my DH). We love having a guys perspective on the board. I wish more would stop in. I think it is a ladies thing to hang out on the boards.

Let me explain - Dave, my DH had WLS in '03 about 4 months behind me and Barry is a bandster that loves to hang out with us and we love having him because he is so cute and Barry is a great contributor to the board. Chris

Dawn, I know exactly where you are. I have friends who moved to Pocahontas. Their last name is Wempe. I live in Staunton. If you don't know where that is, I am about 30-40 minutes from you. I live right along I55.  Glad you joined us. Come back anytime. Beth

Yes I know where staunton is- I work in Edwardsville and it is 30 min away from there. Maybe we can hang out sometime if that is ok. I am glad to find people close.
