Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning Illinois...... How is everyone doing today!   Monica should be coming home tomorrow and Kim you seem to be getting through the bad stuff!  Just remember you are a looser now.......It's only uphill from here!    I am sitting at work waiting for my review!   Got to stay for that.  So we'll see what they think I'm worth! I have the oppertunity to go on a 7 day carribean cruise in September....I'm trying to see if I can do it.....and if I can it will hopefully be a great vacation!  I'm almost excited about it now!   So Christine......any news about Daves job?    You guys are so patient I don't think I could.. Christina, how did you hold up with all the company you had over the holiday?    Lucy where are you?   You all have a good day  Pam

Good morning Illinois! Day 1 of 14 day pre-op diet done. Not too bad...I guess it could be worse. I have a visit with the surgeon today, but not much else going on. Have a great day everyone!

Good morning Pam and the rest of Illinois! I hope your review went well, although they never think you are worth as much as you really are. I think a cruise would be spectacular.  My husband does not agree.  Go for it if you can, I'm sure it would be a great memory.  Get excited!

Nothing special going on with me today.  We went to the craft store last night and my aunt got some painting supplies and we went to Steak & Shake.  When I got home, Todd was in a really bad mood, so I went to bed.  Today, I will just work and then head home.  After dinner, I have a Day in Rock City committee meeting to attend.  I am in charge of the parade, but we as a committee are getting burned out on the whole thing.  We do not have enough volunteers and the same people do all the work.

Monica is coming home tomorrow, Kim is doing well and KimR is up to the plate tomorrow......how exciting!

WHERE is Lucy?  I hope she is well.

Dawn, tell Todd that Dave thought the same thing about cruises. A group of us had to drag him along on our first cruise back in '83. He has been hooked ever since.   Surprise - surprise you are in charge of the parade - AGAIN! We had a blast last year. We should get a group of IL board members to come and enjoy also. Great small town fun.   CB

I am definately inviting all IL board members to come out to Rock City on July 19th this year!

Well, you really cannot manipulate the system in this case. And besides - our lives are in God's hands not our own. We have pretty much always been patient people. We have found in the past when we do not let go and let God that is when things do not really turn out well. The thing about this job is that this company never had man reps before and we are sure that this is all in the hands of the company's legal dept right now drawing up a contract. There is another guy right now in the same shoes and he was working on a contract with the new company. He is just slightly ahead of the game than Dave.  Dave had to wait for a contract with Tyco also, it took time but eventually he had one.  At work at the moment trudging through all the paperwork on my desk. CB ps - we have cruised as POs and there are a lot of great food choices.

   Good Morning Illinois,  Looks like that might actually be the sun out there today. I am sooo not a morning person just because of the hours I work, but my kids are on spring break so I am officially up until tomorrow morning sometime... ( I work nightshift tonight ) Not a whole lot planned for today- laundry and maybe a trip to the mall so my kids can spend some of their birthday money. I have the psych eval appt approaching for my upcoming ( I hope!!!) surgery. Can anyone tell me what that is like ? Have a great day everyone !    Amy

The psych eval is just talking to the shrink about you and your life a bit then a HUGE questionaire that takes about an hour or so to fill out.  Kind of like the standardized testing in school......lots of little dots to fill in.  They ask the same question in all sorts of different ways, it is a personality profile of some sort.  They are looking to see if you are doing this for the right reasons, if you understand what you are doing and if you are likely to be compliant with the post-op lifestyle. It should be nothing to worry about.

The psych eval is no big deal. You have to take an MMPI which does take a while but just answer honestly. Adam the psychologist is really nice. The insurance requires it so one of the go with flow things. Hopefully we can meet someday to yap. I am on call for work today. Hope your daughter is doing ok.
