Hi Paul, Janet & Kim!
It seems that OH is having computer problems again! Hang in there, they always fix them eventually.
Paul, glad to hear that your first support group went well. That is always a good thing.
I can't really help with a local doc as mine are in Madison. I went through the UW program and I love the staff. I do not know if they take patients that had surgery in Mexico. You could call and ask though (608-265-7090).
Are the Cubs going to get to play today? My son has has a countdown to opening day posted on our white board at home for weeks now......GO CUBBIES!
Janet, it IS sad to see family go, but be thankful for the time you had and will have with them. Congratulations on the 7 pounds lost. Size 18 is GREAT!!!! Keep up the good work, it is not a race.
Kim, glad to hear that your dad is doing better. That has to be a load off of your mind. As far as your egg salad goes, yes, you will learn many lessons as you go along. Funny thing, I am 17 months out, and last Saturday I must have eaten my lunch too fast, or wasn't paying attention, or SOMETHING, because for the first time, EVER, I felt like I had eaten too much and it was going to come back up. I have not thrown up at all since surgery and still didn't, but I thought I was in serious danger there for about 5-10 minutes! So, we are all still learning.
I am at work today on this yucky, yucky day. The fuel pump in my car is out, so I am borrowing my Aunt's car. I hope it gets fixed tonight as I love my car, since it fits me so well. This other car is too big for me. Oh well, at least it is safe transportation.
Everyone stay dry and warm, Spring is bound to appear eventually!
Tell someone that you love them!
Dawn
