My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good morning soggy Illinois, I have just made Carol's Taco Veggie Soup for lunch today. Since it isn't suppose to warm up today, soup sounded good. I am looking forward to trying other new ideas too. I tend to cook alot on weekends so when I get home from work, there isn't to much prep time beforew we eat. Dh gets off at 2 or so, and I genrally don't get home until 5 Today is going to be stay at home day. I really need to get into my closet and get it cleaned out, top to bottom. Hopefully I can get a good start on it.

Good morning Illinois. I was out already today and did some grocery shopping. I found some great looking strawberries at Jewel! It's raining and cold and damp outside.

Actually I used a red umbrella so the picture fits me perfectly. I'm so ready for summer. I am going to a wake later this morning and then off to Michigan City for the day. Next Saturday is party time! YAY!! I can't wait to see so many of you. We have many successes to celebrate.

I spoke to Monica yesterday morning and she is feeling a bit stronger. Hope everyone stays warm and dry today. Hugs, Lucy

Good dreary and wet morning to you Janet and Illinois! I need to go shopping today and get some unflavored whey powder and ramekins dishes so I can make Dawns vanilla egg custard. I'm looking forward to all the recipes I can get. Lisa-I have never made this soup,but it sounded yummy. Please let me know how it is and if I need to make changes or additions to it. Lippy-I hope you have a great book signing. Monica-still saying prayers for your quick recovery. Lucy-I'm so looking forward to your party and meeting everyone here. Hope everyone has a wonderful day even if it's raining. Let a smile be your umbrella!

Good morning!

The drippy stuff in Rockford looks a little thick bit since I don't want to say the S word, I'm going to pretend it's thick rain. We are going out to breakfast in a minute with some friends and that's the plan for today. Knitting sounds good with this weather and so that's the plan.

Hi Janet and the rest of Illinois! I just got a chance to stop back here today after posting the recipes this morning. We had to take Liv into Freeport for a cookie both---poor girl stood out in the weather for 4 hours. She said they only sold about 15 boxes of cookies that whole time---hardly worth it. We still have Riley and she is napping right now. The weather is so icky, I am thinking of joining her. Not sure yet what (if anything) is up for the rest of the day. Rainy days are sometimes good days to wrap around a book. I DO with the weather would straighten out. Actually, I heard a rumor that it is supposed to ge georgeous next Saturday! I'm glad that the recipe idea was a good one, that happens sometimes..... Gotta go for now, everyone stay safe and warm!

Good Afternoon! I was up and out of thr hous at 8:30 this morning. I went for a follow up with the eye dr. for my contact lens. Next was a stop at Best Buy and looked at new desktop computers,as mine has died. I then went and singed up my daughter and I for a belly dancing class, and took a tour of the health club to see if I want to join. I then stopped and scheduled an appointment for the dog to get groomed tomorrow at 1:30. I then went and got my nails done. I now need to get some house work done, and some othe rthings as well. To my secret pal, thank you for the wonderful gift. I have already started burning the candle and it smells like spring. Lucy have fun in Michigan City. I am so glad that monica is feeling better.Lisa, you are right about this being a perfect day for soup. Gotta go
