Wednesday Roll Call
Morning! Nothing "good" about it. Found out last night that I got rejected again by the insurance company. Sounds like their is nothing more I can do. I am gonna end up being this fat ugly unhealthy blob for the rest of my life, which I am sure will end soon from a heart attack within the next few years if I don't figure something out soon. Cannot afford a membership to a gym, which insurance won't help to cover expenses. My legs and knees hurt so bad. I walked 4 miles yesterday, and I think they are gonna give out on me.
I went to a chamber of commerce meeting today for the first time (I have been a member for almost a year now and have never gone). I wanted to put a garbage bag over my head so people wouldn't look at me. Sorry I am being so dramatic, just very miserable right now. All the daycare kids are sleeping so I can have a little "pitty party" for myself.
I really wish I can come on Saturday to meet all of you, but I have a daycare conference I had already commited to.

First off, you are not a fat ugly blob! And you will not be that way for the rest of your life. For an outside looking in, your avatar picture is beautiful!!! Sorry I haven't gotten those things to you. So another denial...so keep fighting. Why did they denie you? At the bottom of the letter should be the person who over looked your file. Call her and speak w/ her. I found talking to them in person and setting them straight w/ the facts really helped. Girl, I was denied 4 times! Yep, 4 times!!! Hang in there. Call me again if you want. A few months from now you will look back at this and think how hard you fought to get approved! You are soooo nice and pretty, please don't beat yourself up!

Kim is right! Talk to them. You might be surprised at the results. I have a friend who was 5'2" and 385 pounds (male). He was that big for over 25 years and did every program and diet ever known. That included being hospitalized in a weight lose program. And yet, his insurance denied him 4 times. He ended up getting a lawyer and they finally approved. He is now 206 pounds lighter and doing great. But if he didn't fight, he would still be dealing with all that extra weight. The insurance companies are doing everything they can to delay the surgery. This is in hopes that you will change insurance companies and they will not have to foot the bill. It's an unfortunate game they play. But in the end, morbid obesity is a disease and WLS is the best treatment. Hang in there long enough, and they will come around.
